Pink SLAMS Recording Academy President's 'Step Up' Comments!

Pink has no time for BS!

As we reported, in response to the #GrammysSoMale controversy, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow made headlines when he said women in music need to "step up" if they "want to be part of the industry."

On Monday, the What About Us singer shared a handwritten note on Twitter SLAMMING Portnow's backward comments as women totally "owned music this year."

The 38-year-old wrote:

"Women in music don't need to 'step up' — women have been stepping since the beginning of time. Stepping up, and also stepping aside. Women OWNED music this year. They've been KILLING IT. And every year before this. When we celebrate and honor the talent and accomplishments of women, and how much women STEP UP every year, and how much women STEP UP every year, against all odds, we show the next generation of women and girls and boys and men what it means to be equal, and what it looks like to be fair."

Out of all the major categories at the 2018 Grammys, Alessia Cara -- who took home Best New Artist -- was the only female award winner.

After the Grammys on Sunday, Billboard went to a couple of exclusive after parties where one staffer overheard something very interesting at Sony's shindig at the Whitney Museum of American Art in NYC!

Apparently, Lauren Jauregui is switching from Epic to Columbia in order to release a solo album!

Does this mean she is leaving Fifth Harmony?? Will 5H now be only 3H?? Only time will tell.

Last year, Miz Jauregui made a solo appearance on Halsey's track Strangers.

Things aren't looking good, Harmonizers!

DJ Who Lost Taylor Swift Groping Lawsuit Just Got Another Radio Job Under A Fake Name!

Guess now he can't complain about the financial hardship of parting with that dollar...

After losing his very public court case with Taylor Swift, which essentially means a court of law judged that he groped her, David Mueller has been given a second chance.

The DJ, who sued Tay after losing his job following complaints he "grabbed her bare ass" in a publicity photo, just got another job at Delta Radio's Kix 92.7 WMYQ out of Moorhead, Mississippi.

Mueller will go under the stage name Stonewall Jackson on the Jackson & Jonbob show -- possibly to keep some distance from this controversy.

Delta Radio president and CEO Larry Fuss has his own opinion on the matter. He told Inside Radio:

"I was roundly criticized in a Facebook group for offering Mueller a job, but regardless of what he may or may not have done, does he really deserve to be banned from radio for life? He has lots of talent and will sound great on Kix 92.7."

Look, we're not saying people shouldn't get second chances (though we would like to see some contrition first). We're just saying, should he really get a job where he could be put in the exact same position, meeting and possibly taking publicity photos with young country stars?

And with a new name, so they have no idea...

According to a source speaking to People, the makeup mogul and first-time mom is actually incredibly worried about the whole childbirth process -- and is totally up for that epidural:

"She is nervous about the birth and anxious about pain. She wants to have an easy birth and is open to pain medicine."

The source also confirms that Kylie's nursery is indeed "pink, pink, and pink."

Diane Keaton Defends Woody Allen Against Child Molestation Claims

Not everyone in Hollywood is turning their back on Woody Allen...

After Kate Winslet -- who collaborated with the director on Wonder Wheel -- said at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards that she has "bitter regrets" about working with certain individuals, Allen's Annie Hall costar Diane Keaton announced she is standing by her longtime "friend."

On Monday, the legendary actress wrote the following message on Twitter, defending the filmmaker against accusations he sexually molested daughter Dylan Farrow when she was seven.


In the 1992 60 Minutes clip, the now-82-year-old artist vehemently denies the claims, and paints Dylan's mother Mia Farrow in an extremely negative light.

Since the emergence of the #MeToo movement, several Allen collaborators -- including Mira Sorvino, Rebecca Hall, and Timothée Chalamet -- have publicly distanced themselves from the controversial director.
