Tiffany Haddish Sued By Ex-Husband For Painting Him As An Abuser In Biography!

Posted: 25 May 2018 07:56 PM PDT

Tiffany Haddish's ex-husband, William Stewart, is suing the comedian for detailing "untrue" stories of abuse in her book The Last Black Unicorn, released in December 2017.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, the Girls Trip star accuses Stewart of choking, kidnapping, and stalking her during their 5-year marriage.

Although the funny lady does not mention Stewart's name in the chapter "The Ex-Husband," he says he is the only person she has ever been married to.

In the collection of essays, Haddish hints that Stewart's alleged abuse is to blame for the death of her unborn child. Stewart denies this, and claims Haddish had an abortion.

While Tiffany says they were married AND divorced twice, Stewart says they simply got married in 2008 and later divorced in 2013.

Although Haddish reportedly filed a restraining order against him in 2011, he says the claims are false and were dismissed in court.

Stewart also slams his ex-wife for writing about his mother, Elnora Daughtery. Allegedly, Tiffany says Elnora abused Stewart as a child, and knew Stewart abused her during their marriage, but did nothing.

According to Stewart's lawyer Michael Sterling:

"For the defendants' own profit, they painted my clients as abusers in a best-selling book. After a thorough review of the facts and evidence, we know that the assertions made by the defendants about my clients in The Last Black Unicorn are patently untrue... Powerful people and influential corporations can't intentionally and recklessly destroy someone's reputation with malicious lies for their own profit. After exhausting our ability to solve this matter privately, we have been left with no choice, but to seek legal recourse. We look forward to our day in court."

Stewart is suing Tiffany, co-author Tucker Max, and publisher Simon and Schuster for libel, slander, and defamation, and is asking for damages in excess of $1,000,000.

Drake Disses Kanye West & Pusha T In New Freestyle — Twitter Reacts!

Posted: 25 May 2018 06:01 PM PDT

SHOTS. FIRED!

On Friday, Pusha T dropped his new album DAYTONA -- produced by Kanye West -- where he seemingly reignites his feud with Drake, who previously dissed the former Clipse group member in his 2016 song Two Birds, One Stone.

In his track Infrared, Pusha T raps, "It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin," which seemingly references Drake's alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller.

That same day, Drizzy dropped a new joint called Duppy Freestyle where he reportedly takes aim at Pusha, Kanye, AND their G.O.O.D. Music label.

In the opening verse, the Canadian musician admits that Miller worked on "a couple of [verses]," but says Pusha's attack is hypocritical because Drake reportedly helped Kanye write songs in the past.

Drake raps:

"So if you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of Vs / What do you really think of the n**** that's making your beats? / I've done things for him I thought that he never would need / Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me / I pop style for 30 hours, then let him repeat"

He also calls out Kanye by name, and says Ye should pay him for basically promoting DAYTONA with his freestyle:

"Tell 'Ye we got an invoice comin' to you/ Considering we just sold another 20 for you"

Additionally, he disses their label:

"You're not even top 5 as far as your label talent goes."

Belittles Pusha's accomplishments:

"You might've sold some college kids some Nikes and Mercedes/ But you act like you sold drugs for Escobar in the '80s"

And, criticizes the two for allegedly not supporting Off-White CEO and Louis Vuitton men's wear artistic director Virgil Abloh:

"I could never have a Virgil in my circle and hold him back, 'cause he makes me nervous/... You n***** leeches and serpents"

After everything was said and done, Pusha acknowledged the feud on his Twitter page:

We have to admit, Drake's track is pretty dope! You can listen to it HERE:

George Takei's 'Sexual Assault' Accuser Walks Back His Story! See George's 'Grateful' Response!

Posted: 25 May 2018 04:34 PM PDT

Has George Takei been exonerated??

Back in November, fans of the socially progressive Star Trek star were shocked to hear a new accusation of drugging and groping a male model named Scott Brunton back in 1981.

For many, that surprise was simply folded into the broader narrative that many men we looked up to were turning out to be predators behind closed doors.

Related: Morgan Freeman Releases Apology Following Multiple Accusations Of Sexual Harassment

Well, that wasn't good enough for reporter Shane Snow, who had a book coming out in which he had profiled Takei's charity work against homophobia and racism. Needing to know if Takei deserved to have the honor stripped away, Snow did some digging into the story.

After he noticed several discrepancies in Brunton's various interviews, he even got a chance to question the alleged victim for himself.

Here's a brief summary of what he found and posted in a lengthy investigation in the Observer:

1. Brunton had more to drink that night than he had previously said; he had been drinking wine prior to the cocktails with George. He also weighed less -- he was down to 170 lbs, not 180 -- an important factor for judging blood alcohol content, which experts say based on the amount of drinks in the story was likely over the legal limit.

2. Two separate toxicologists were presented with the story as a blind case study and ruled out date rape drugs. The drugs which existed in 1981 would not have allowed Brunton to simply get up and leave. As we've heard from Bill Cosby's victims, quaaludes caused lack of muscle control for hours, not a few seconds. As for why he got dizzy when he stood up? Both thought it was likely from alcohol plus postural hypotension, aka standing up too fast.

3. When presented with these assessments, Brunton actually told Snow it made him feel better to go back to what he originally thought before seeing all the TV reports about Cosby -- that he had just gotten too drunk.

4. Brunton admitted he was lying about having met Takei years later for coffee, a story he had told to The Hollywood Reporter. He had actually just attended a book signing where he stood in line and got his book signed.

5. A retired DA told Snow the story as told contained "nothing to prosecute" as when Brunton denied his consent, Takei immediately backed off.

Most importantly, Brunton said "sexual assault" in his account to THR, but he only mentioned groping of his crotch in that telling, later leaving it out of his CNN interview. And he only mentioned his drink being drugged in later versions. Sometimes Takei's shirt was on, sometimes it was off. In the most recent account directly to Snow, he didn't mention Takei touching his genitals at all -- only trying to pull at his pants.

When Snow asked the question directly, the answer got much less clear. He quotes Bunton as saying:

"You know... probably... He was clearly on his way to... to... to going somewhere."

Bunton then admitted he did not specifically remember Takei ever touching his genitals.

The accuser also told Snow he had told the story of Takei making a pass at him many times as "a great party story" that would get a laugh.

Related: Takei Expresses Regret For Joking About 'Touching Men' On Howard Stern

He said it was "not painful" and "didn't scar" him, seeming to contradict his earlier statements to the press. He also said it was seeing Takei comment publicly about Kevin Spacey's scandal (he'd said, "When power is used in a nonconsensual situation, it is wrong.") that made him angry for the first time. Takei had been older and had come on to him. He said he wanted an apology.

Again, Snow asked directly whether Brunton had previously considered the encounter an assault:

"No. Just an unwanted situation. It's just a very odd event."

In direct contrast to his previous accusation, Brunton admitted he did not consider Takei an abuser or a criminal.

He said he would even believe Takei if he said the whole thing was simply a misunderstanding -- provided he got his apology.

Takei shared the article, responding over several tweets:

It sounds very much like Brunton is recanting completely.

Sadly, it may be too late for Takei, whose name has been tarnished and is now in the public's minds among Spacey, Cosby, and Harvey Weinstein.

Snow double checked and found that Takei was right when he said a Russian propaganda network had helped spread the story as well, just as Donald Trump Jr. had gleefully done to the vocal critic of his dad on Twitter. (We know, it sounds like a conspiracy, but is it when it's out in the open?)

As Snow says at the end of his piece:

"Brunton didn't really want all that; he says he just wanted to spur an old friend to reach out and to say sorry for an unwanted situation."

That does not sound like a sexual assault victim.

VOTE: Topher Grace Would *Probably* Be Up For A That '70s Show Reunion — Would YOU Watch!?

Posted: 25 May 2018 03:35 PM PDT

We're all alright on the reboots.

Topher Grace is too -- but he'd be down for a That '70s Show reunion on one condition... as long as it's not on TV!

Related: Get Your First Look At The Charmed Reboot

The 39-year-old explained to The Hollywood Reporter:

"Yeah, I don't think it will happen. It would be so hard to bring that crew together. For me, I'd do it if no one ever saw it. Just 'cause it would be great to hang out with them for a week or something."

Stranger reboots have happened!

Though a reboot isn't likely, Grace would still be down for reuniting with his former cast mates in some other way:

"I would do [a reboot] for sure because that was a very wonderful time for us. We were all very close, having that experience every single day with each other. It was great to broadcast it out once a week, but, like, I'm still great friends with those guys."

Wait... even accused rapist Danny Masterson?

Photo: First Look At Kiernan Shipka In The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina!

Grace didn't say if he's still close with Masterson, but he did address those messy allegations -- and made sure not to seem he was defending his former costar, unlike, say a certain Arrested Development actor:

"You know, I hesitate to say that I never saw any of that behavior because I feel like it sounds like I'm defending him, but the truth is I never saw any of that stuff. I was, of that cast, the most boring. So when it came to going out after the show and partying, I just was boring."

Eric never could hang with the rest of the crew -- but he seems up for it now!

Would YOU be up for a That '70s Show reunion?

'Mortified' Victoria Beckham Once Confused Thandie Newton For Zoe Saldana!

Posted: 25 May 2018 03:22 PM PDT

Whoops!

When discussing who she has been confused for, Thandie Newton revealed on Friday's episode of The Graham Norton Show that Victoria Beckham once mistook her for Zoe Saldana!

Related: Victoria Beckham Gives Her Take On Meghan Markle

The Solo: A Star Wars Story actress said it all went down at a SoulCycle class in El Lay! She dished:

"Recently I was in SoulCycle in LA and Victoria Beckham, who I have actually met a few times, was there. We were chatting away when she said, 'It's so great that you are here when you are pregnant.' I said, 'I actually had my baby a couple of months ago.' We carried on chatting and it was obvious she thought I was someone else so I said, 'Do you think I am Zoe Saldana?' Victoria was absolutely mortified!"'

Despite the misunderstanding, the Westworld star was flattered (though puzzled) by the comparison!

"It was actually okay as Zoe is a rare beauty, but really? Up close? Come on! And, I am British!"

Epic fail, Miz Beckham!
