According to an ET Online report published on Tuesday, Khloé Kardashian and daughter True Thompson are planning to stay with Tristan Thompson in Ohio for at least another month. As of now, she's planning on being in Cleveland for another month... She's built a nice, quiet life for herself in Cleveland, which is exactly what she wants right now. 13 Reasons Why Showrunner Defends That Sexual Assault Scene — Because It Happens All The Time IRL Posted: 22 May 2018 04:08 PM PDT [SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2] Season two of 13 Reasons Why may be just as controversial as the first. The hit Netflix show returned on Friday, and over the weekend fans eventually got to that scene -- in which Tyler (Devin Druid) is sexually assaulted with a broomstick by Monty (Timothy Granaderos). Related: Trump Supporters Are Lose Their Shit Over News Of Obama Netflix Deal Many viewers thought the scene went too far, calling out the show as problematic for the sake of controversy. But showrunner Brian Yorkey says the motivation for such a horrifying attack was itself even worse. Unfortunately, it happens all the time to high school students. He told Entertainment Weekly: "We delved into research and found story after story of cases like this — upsettingly similar stories of male high school athletes violating weaker kids with mob handles or pool cues. The number of stories we found about it were astounding and those are just the ones that got reported, and we know that sexual assault is hugely underreported. We are a show that is interested in continuing the conversation around sexual assault in high school and this was a story that was not largely told and that made sense for these characters, so we took a deep breath and we all talked it over and decided it was worth telling even though we knew it would be hard to do and hard to watch." Months after filing two orders of protection against him, Maci Bookout has been granted a two-year restraining order against ex Ryan Edwards! As you may know, the two currently have a strained coparenting relationship as the momma previously made it seem her ex isn't completely sober after his recent arrest. Related: Jenelle Evans Allegedly Pulled Out A Gun During Road Rage Incident Well, it seems that will take another turn as the Teen Mom starlet showed up to court on Monday for the hearing, where all parties were present. A Hamilton County Circuit Court Public Information Officer shared of the judge's decision, telling E! News: "The judge dismissed the ex parte order of protection and then entered a mutual restraining order." Additionally, her baby daddy's attorney expressed how his client is unable to go within 100 feet of Maci, her husband, Taylor McKinney, or the couple's two children together: "We did agree to a restraining order where Ryan will not go within 100 feet of Maci and her current husband and their two children. Ryan has no exclusions with Bentley and is still able to see his son under the new restraining order. This gives Ryan a lot more protection against any false allegations, allows him to avoid getting arrested without a hearing first, and allows him to be around his son most importantly. Ryan agreed to this outcome to make it easier on everyone and not go through a formal process of a trial.
