We think she was WAY TOO EXCITED for her big fiesta! However, the day ended up being great with an amazing sea-themed venue and even a visit by a real life mermaid! Such fun memories were made! | Posted: 12 May 2018 03:14 PM PDT Looks like Young Dolph has a message for Larry Moneta, the Vice President of Student Affairs at Duke University who apparently got two baristas fired for playing Get Paid during their shift at a cofee shop on campus last week! The rapper was performing at the Rolling Loud hip hop festival in Miami on Friday night when he brought a little surprise to the stage along with him... the two baristas from Duke! ICYMI, let's catch you up: this week, the apparently-hilariously-sheltered Larry Moneta walked into the Joe Van Gogh coffee shop at Duke and was appalled that the baristas were playing Young Dolph's Get Paid in the store. Horrified by the lyrics (OMG! Words!), Moneta demanded that the baristas (a) turn the music off, and (b) pay for his vegan muffin, too. Then, the baristas got fired. Moneta says he didn't ask for them to be fired, just for the music to be turned off and for his vegan muffin to be paid for while he actually called Duke dining after the incident took place to further report it to higher-ups just to make sure people knew about it. Yeah, OK, Larry. Dolph took exception and showed up the University -- and Larry Moneta -- in the best way possible!! As we've been reporting, Banks went on The Breakfast Club on Friday morning and made some controversial comments criticizing the Bodak Yellow star -- calling her, among other things, "illiterate" and "a caricature of a black woman." Cardi responded at the time, but things have only heated up between the two of them since then -- and it's gotten so sticky that after REALLY calling out Azealia, Cardi B deleted her entire Instagram account while also locking her Twitter! | One Person Dead After Late Night Fight, Shooting Outside Yo Gotti Concert In Kansas City Posted: 12 May 2018 11:41 AM PDT So sad... One man has died after a shooting erupted in the parking lot outside a Yo Gotti concert late Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri, according to reports out this morning on TMZ. Related: Rebecca Ferguson Releases Shocking 'Statement Of Truth The victim -- still unidentified publicly by law enforcement -- may have been part of a group of people that had gotten in a fight as part of a large crowd outside the concert venue at about 11:30 p.m. last night. Witnesses on scene reported that a melee broke out between multiple people, and in the middle of it, someone fired a gun. By the time police and paramedics reached the scene, all they could do was pronounce the victim deceased. Other details still coming in are sketchy, but law enforcement notes the timing and proximity likely means those involved in the shooting were there for the concert. Related: R. Speaking for more than twenty minutes to the USC crowd, Oprah touched on a lot of different things, but her focus on politics and living through this moment in our nation's history -- with a special reference to Michelle Obama -- should probably be remembered for a while. | Mariah Carey's Ex-Manager Sues Lawyer Over All Kinds Of Drama Surrounding The Pop Star… Posted: 12 May 2018 08:35 AM PDT Lots of legal drama floating around Mariah Carey right now... but fortunately for the star, she's not (yet) involved in this one as she has been before! Carey's former manager is suing a lawyer -- who is also the ex-manager's cousin -- over claims of bad business and bad-mouthing behind-the-back (to Mariah!) that allegedly cost the plaintiff millions of dollars!! Related: Mariah Goes Public With Her Bipolar Disorder Diagnosis Here's what is going on: Carey's ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov is suing the lawyer she claimed she hired two years ago, Zarina Burbacki -- who is also Stella's cousin -- after Stella says Zarnia misrepresented the extent of her legal expertise and more. Stella says that, among other things, Zarina forged signatures on documents, changed contracts, spied on communications, and worst yet -- made false and defamatory accusations about Stella to Mariah Carey, behind Stella's back!! The lawsuit claims that there were at least two instances in which Zarina went to Carey about Stella allegedly stealing money and having a secret bank account (claims that Stella denies), including one serious sit-down in Connecticut back in 2017 (below):
Whoa!!! Ultimately, Stella says that all the lies, and surveillance, and drama ended up costing her and her husband more than $20 million. And we know Stella isn't afraid to sue and ask for damages!!
