That same day, the Internet reportedly dug up racially insensitive tweets from Kiyoko's past, and they are pretty shocking.

In May 2009, the now-27-year-old reportedly mocked black basketball players in the following message:

Later that year, the singer reportedly shared the following photo of herself in dreadlocks:

In 2010, Kiyoko reportedly published the following tweet, which potentially suggests she refuses to date black women.

Months later, she reportedly wrote the N-word on social media.

Care to explain, Hayley??

Openly Gay Singer Hayley Kiyoko SLAMS Rita Ora's 'Tone-Deaf' Bisexual Anthem Girls: 'We Can And Should Do Better'

Posted: 11 May 2018 05:40 PM PDT

Not everyone is into Girls!

As we reported on Friday, Rita Ora dropped her summer '18 bisexual anthem featuring Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX.

Related: Rita Ora Brings The Drama To The 2018 Met Gala!

That same day, singer Hayley Kiyoko -- who identifies as a gay woman -- criticized the track on Instagram calling it "tone-deaf" and harmful to the LGBTQ community.

She wrote:

"I literally have a knot in my stomach right now. To be clear, I fully support other artists who freely express themselves and applaud male and female artists who are opening up more and more about their sexual identities. But every so often there come certain songs with messaging that is just downright tone-deaf, which does more harm than good for the LGBTQ+ community. A song like this just fuels the male gaze while marginalizing the idea of women loving women."

The 27-year-old adds:

"I know that wasn't the intention of the artists on the song, but it's the lack of consideration behind these lyrics that really get me. I don't need to drink win to kiss girls; I've loved women my entire life. This type of message is dangerous because it completely belittles and invalidates the very pure feelings of an entire community. I feel I have a responsibility to protect that whenever possible. We can and should do better."

So remember that Charmed reboot no one wanted? Well, it's happening anyway.

We still don't know about the new incarnations of the early 2000s fan faves, but the push toward Latina leads in both new versions (Roswell, New Mexico's a main character is the daughter of undocumented immigrants) is a good way to win us over...

But will fans of the OG WB shows tune in??

What Does Anna Faris Think Of Chris Pratt's 'Divorce Sucks' Comment?

Posted: 11 May 2018 04:11 PM PDT

We're past reeling at Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' shocking split; now we can't help but wonder how they're doing.

We still love both stars (and their adorable son Jack) so much, it's just pure heartburn to see them suffering.

So naturally Chris' semi-infamous "divorce sucks" comment stung. But how did that line affect his ex?

The Overboard star, who has already moved on with cinematographer Michael Barrett, has finally responded, telling Marie Claire:

"It feels like it's more dramatic than it is. Chris and I have a great friendship and Jack is so happy and so loved."

Why did it take so long for her to respond? She probably didn't even hear about it until the interviewer asked! Since the divorce she's been steering clear of news about herself:

"I think that I just sort of learned to not Google myself, and when my sweet assistant is like, 'Look what just popped up.' I'm like, 'Fuck off. I love you, but I don't know if I need to know everything.'"

One more thing she answered. Is she still a romantic after all this?

"I do think I'm a romantic because I love the small things in life. Just like the little pleasures of life that feel like secrets. I still always want to keep that as a part of my life, does that make any sense at all? Maybe. I don't know."

Well, romantic or not, we just hope she AND Chris can continue to find happiness.

Presidential Historian Says Donald & Melania Trump Have The Most 'Awkward Marriage' In Modern History!

Posted: 11 May 2018 03:54 PM PDT

Think Donald Trump and Melania Trump's marriage is awkward AF? Historically speaking, you are correct!!

Prominent presidential historian Douglas Brinkley spoke to People about the First Couple's "awkward marriage" -- noting that, like all things related to the highway accident that is the Trump administration, it's too painful to not look at!

Related: White House Official Jokes About "Dying" John McCain

The professor of history at Rice University and CNN's presidential historian explained:

"In modern times, we haven't had such an awkward marriage — one that seems to be, if not unraveling, it seems to be frozen. It doesn't seem to be a very organic thing."

Quite the opposite, in fact.

Case in point: the viral videos of FLOTUS swatting away her husband's hand when he tries to hold hers. To elaborate, Brinkley said:

"That scene of the hand swat is a visual metaphor for a marriage that isn't hinged right… It's almost painful to watch the president and first lady together — they seem uncomfortable in the same photo frame. There's not a lot of warmth that is being exuded."

Some would say it's colder than a sinkhole in Mar-A-Lago -- a definite departure from the warm, loving images of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama in their White House days.

Related: Trump Admits He Calls Any Negative News About Him "Fake"!

Instead of warm hugs and displays of affection, Melania has been dealing with stories of Trump's alleged affairs and alleged sexual misconduct from over the years -- and despite her aloof demeanor, Brinkley says the stories are a "major psychic blow" to the First Lady, explaining:

"There's always the chance they are working things out, but I have to imagine Stormy Daniels is a major psychic blow to Melania Trump. To have your spouse be having unprotected sex with a porn star is not something that causes endearment."

You don't say!

While her marriage may be at an all time low, Melania's standing with the public has never been better. Brinkley thinks she has "positioned herself well in the public eye" with the issues she's decided to champion, adding:

"Melania Trump picking cyber bullying almost seems to be a jab at her husband."

And who wouldn't want to see Melania take a jab at Donny?

As for her future, Brinkley sees a life of do-goodery for the Slovenian native:

"She may have a very long life as a philanthropist and martyr. In some ways, she seems to be a victim of her own husband."

If there's one thing we can all relate to, it's being a victim of Donald Trump.

Azealia Banks Slams Cardi B For Acting Like A 'Caricature Of A Black Woman' & Cardi Is NOT Here For It!

Posted: 11 May 2018 03:40 PM PDT

Azealia Banks thinks Cardi B is taking black women at least two years back!

The controversial rapper took aim at the breakout star in a new interview on The Breakfast Club, voicing her concern that Cardi's persona was harming the culture.

Related: Katy Perry Is 'Relieved' Taylor Swift Accepted Her Peace Offering!

She explained on the morning radio program:

"Two years ago, the conversation surrounding black women's culture was really reaching an all-time high, and we were really like discussing our power amongst ourselves, and, you know, Beyoncé came out with Lemonade. There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B."

What's so bad about the Bronx native's persona? Her spelling, for starters:

"I'm just talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with. Like, if my spelling and grammar was that bad, I'd be canceled. If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, we would be ragging on her all day."

Tired of being ragged on, Cardi took to social media to address Banks' interview. In a string of tweets, the Invasion of Privacy rapper expressed her frustrations over female rappers being bashed for speaking and acting how they want, writing:

But Banks had to have the last word. In response to Cardi's tweets, she made another dig at the rapper's English and blasted the 24-year-old for promoting unsafe sex:

Interestingly enough, Banks was a big fan of the Dominican rapper before her meteoric rise to fame -- but she's certainly singing a different tune now!
