Jenna Dewan Flashes Floral Print In First Red Carpet Appearance Since Split From Channing Tatum

Looks like business as usual (or... mostly usual) for Jenna Dewan!

The 37-year-old actress got back to her old ways on Friday night, making her first red carpet appearance since announcing publicly a few weeks ago that she'd split from ex Channing Tatum.

And now, the recently re-titled Dewan (no Tatum!) resurfaced last night at the 2018 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Hope & Heritage Gala, where she was awarded as their Humanitarian Of The Year.

Not a bad night -- and all for a great cause!

As you can see (above), Dewan opted for a floral look on the red carpet, and she was plainly all smiles as she made her way down the carpet to the event! No wedding ring on, of course -- though that's not big news any more, considering the actress had stopped wearing it a while ago...

Carrie Underwood Shares Close-Up Face Photo Revealing Scars Left From Fall At Home

There's no doubt about it -- Carrie Underwood is one tough chick!!!

The country music superstar posted a selfie to her Instagram account on Friday, showing off her face in full bloom for the pic and -- for the first time since November -- showing off some of the scars she sustained from falling and getting more than 40 stitches last winter.

The singer, who had told fans earlier this year that she "might look a bit different," looks gorgeous and as happy as ever, as you can see for yourself (below):

Chicago White Sox Pitcher Suffers Life Threatening Brain Hemorrhage Minutes After Pitching In A Game

Minutes after pitching in the team's loss on Friday night against the Houston Astros at home in Chicago, Chicago White Sox right-handed pitcher Danny Farquhar suffered a ruptured aneurysm that cause a brain hemorrhage while still in the dugout.

Farquhar had just gotten done throwing fifteen pitches in the sixth inning of the White Sox game when, seemingly out of nowhere, he lost consciousness in the dugout.

White Sox medical staff and EMTs rushed to the dugout to administer aid, and they quickly got him to the hospital.

Worse yet, though, Farquhar is currently fighting for his life in the hospital, as he is in stable but critical condition in the ICU at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Cameras captured the aftermath of the incident during last night's game (below):

A seven-year veteran of the Major Leagues, the 31-year-old Farquhar has gotten close to teammates in Chicago, like pitcher James Shields, who reacted to the horrifying moment today (below):

"It crushes us in this clubhouse. Nothing really matters baseball-wise when something like that happens. When you see one of your brothers go down like that it's not very fun to watch. He's such a resilient human being and we're praying for him and hope everything goes well. All that matters is family and life. He's a brother of ours and a great teammate. As of right now it's not looking great. He's definitely stable from what we hear. But this kid has a long ways to go. He's fighting."

Another pitcher, teammate Hector Santiago, noted that most of the team was thinking of Farquhar rather than their upcoming game tonight in Chicago (below):

"We're more worried about what's going on with him and his family than this game right now."

Tough, tough situation for his teammates -- but even more importantly, it's a truly life-threatening situation for Farquhar himself.

Oman Government Officials Say Avicii's Death 'Was Not The Result Of Any Criminal Activity'

We're all still hoping for some answers soon in the aftermath of Avicii's death -- most importantly, answers for his family members who have gone to Oman in search of information -- but there's at least one thing that apparently can be ruled out: foul play.

Government officials in Oman have apparently determined that "there is no criminal suspicion" in the death of the 28-year-old world famous DJ, who passed away late this week while on vacation in the Middle Eastern country.

Sources were quick to note that although cops had apparently determined criminal activity and/or foul play was NOT a cause of the untimely passing, they still weren't sure exactly what happened to the Swedish EDM superstar.

Pictures continue to surface online of Avicii looking reasonably happy and healthy in the days leading up to his death on the trip, so it doesn't appear that there was much by way of warning signs -- at least not publicly.

Answers may take a while to come, but we can be sure the family will continue to press on.

Austin Powers Actor Verne Troyer Dead At 49

Wow.

Legendary actor Verne Troyer -- perhaps best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film franchise -- has died, according to notice given minutes ago on his social media accounts.

He was 49 years old.

Within the last hour, this picture and accompanying caption went up on his official Instagram page (below):

It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today. Verne was an extremely caring individual. He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, and laugh. Anybody in need, he would help to any extent possible. Verne hoped he made a positive change with the platform he had and worked towards spreading that message everyday. He inspired people around the world with his drive, determination, and attitude. On film & television sets, commercial shoots, at comic-con's & personal appearances, to his own YouTube videos, he was there to show everyone what he was capable of doing. Even though his stature was small and his parents often wondered if he'd be able to reach up and open doors on his own in his life, he went on to open more doors for himself and others than anyone could have imagined. He also touched more peoples hearts than he will ever know. Verne was also a fighter when it came to his own battles. Over the years he's struggled and won, struggled and won, struggled and fought some more, but unfortunately this time was too much. During this recent time of adversity he was baptized while surrounded by his family. The family appreciates that they have this time to grieve privately. Depression and Suicide are very serious issues. You never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside. Be kind to one another. And always know, it's never too late to reach out to someone for help. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in Verne's name to either of his two favorite charities; The Starkey Hearing Foundation and Best Buddies. Ariana Grande Surprises Coachella By Performing New Single No Tears Left To Cry — Watch HERE!

Just hours after she released her first single since last year's Manchester bombing attack, Ariana Grande surprised Coachella by performing it live for the audience in the desert!

The pop star took to the stage last night at Coachella to open up weekend #2, and in doing so, she shocked everybody in the middle of Kygo's set with a live performance of No Tears Left To Cry!

R. Kelly's Publicist, Lawyer, And Assistant All Quit Following MORE Sexual Misconduct Allegations…

The bad news just keeps getting worse for R. Kelly.

The R&B singer -- who continues to face down mounting accusations of sexual misconduct by multiple women over a long period of time -- is now without his attorney, assistant, AND publicist after ALL THREE quit this week!!!

Following media reports outlining more of R. Kelly's alleged misdeeds against women, people formerly employed by the R&B star have come out to confirm that they are no longer working for him -- including former rep Trevian Kutti, as well as entertainment attorney Linda Mensch and Kelly's former assistant Diana Copeland.

Wow...

R. Kelly has been in the hot seat for months now -- well, at least so much as when he's had a seat to sit on -- and it's clear that the rats are jumping ship as more accusations continue to mount.

As you'll remember from our earlier reporting, there are a slew of varying sexual misconduct allegations against the singer that date back years, and including accusations surrounding a sex cult, sexually transmitted diseases, and much more.

Good luck trying to navigate all this without a team of professionals around you...

Avicii's Brother Is On The Ground In Oman Looking For Answers After The DJ's Sudden Death

We can't imagine ever having to go through this for a loved one... ugh...

Avicii's brother David Bergling is on the ground in Oman this weekend, having traveled there from the family's native Sweden to try and get some more definitive answers on what happened to the world famous DJ (real name Tim Bergling, pictured above).

As we've been reporting, Avicii had been vacationing at an upscale resort known as Muscat Hills near the capital city of Muscat in the Middle Eastern country when he was found dead at just 28 years old.

Now, David is there to get some answers about certain things, including one big question: why did Avicii and a small group of friends check out of Muscat Hills sometime last week, per reports, and where did they go in the days between that and the DJ's death?

The EDM superstar had been seen in good spirits previously, taking pics with fans at the resort, and witnesses didn't report anything out of the ordinary in the days leading up to his death.

Nevertheless, David is on the ground in Oman and looking for answers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Bergling family for their sudden, jarring loss.
