An amazing video with Naomi Klein on disaster capitalism in Puerto Rico

Naomi Klein has reported for two decades on how governments and corporations exploit large-scale disasters for the benefit of a few wealthy elites. It happened in Iraq and New Orleans, and it's happening now in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Klein published a terrific piece in The Intercept about how Puerto Ricans are fighting back against plutocrats seeking to plunder the island, and now there's a video she narrates featuring her reporting.

Check it out here.
