'The Time Is Up!': Oprah Winfrey Makes History Accepting The Cecil B. DeMille Award At The 2018 Golden Globes With An EPIC #MeToo Speech!

Posted: 07 Jan 2018 07:24 PM PST

Oprah Winfrey has made history once again at the 2018 Golden Globes!

The A Wrinkle In Time star is the first African American woman in history to be presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

First up, Reese Witherspoon introduced the icon, describing her truly impressive body of work! Her "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment" include excellent acting in movies like The Color Purple, fabulous interviews, and (apparently) amazing hugs! LOLz!

Then Oprah herself took the stage and described how fellow DeMille winner Sidney Poitier's Oscars win was one of the most important moments of her youth.

She then moved on to talking about the biggest story of the past year and of the night, the #MeToo movement, recounting the moving story of 1944 rape victim Recy Taylor who refused to stay quiet. She got the whole crowd on their feet like only THE Oprah can.

Mrs. Maisel sure is having a marvelous night!

The Amazon series just picked up the Golden Globes for Best TV Series, Comedy -- just a few awards after its star Rachel Brosnahan won Best Actress!

Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino stormed the stage with her talented cast to deliver a quick-talking, Gilmore Girls-y acceptance speech that ended with a quip about going backstage to get cheese. Ha!

The freshman period comedy beat out Black-ish, Master of None, SMILF, and Will & Grace. Congrats to all!

WOO HOO — Aziz Ansari Wins Best Actor In A TV Series, Comedy At The 2018 Golden Globes!

Aziz Ansari must be happy!

On Sunday, the Master Of None creator walked away the victor of the Best Actor In A TV series, Comedy prize at the Golden Globes. CONGRATULATIONS!!

This win must feel good for Ansari as he was nominated for the same role at last year's Globes. Not to mention, Aziz beat out SEVERAL talented actors -- including Anthony Anderson (Black-ish), Kevin Bacon (I Love Dick), William H. Macy (Shameless), and Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) -- for the trophy.

We're sure Netflix is proud of Aziz's big win too. Congrats again, bud!!

Um, Did Timothée Chalamet JUST Learn Who Tonya Harding Was At The Golden Globes??

Posted: 07 Jan 2018 07:05 PM PST

The Golden Globes are maybe the most star-studded event all year -- there are even celebs you never expected to see... or if you're young enough don't even know!

Twitter user @silkysheets noticed that Timothee Chalamet seemed to not even realize he was sitting next to disgraced skater Tonya Harding until I, Tonya star Allison Janney pointed her out during her Best Supporting Actress acceptance speech.

Looking at his adorable young face, we can't help but wonder if the Call Me By Your Name star even knew who she was!

We mean, the 22-year-old wasn't even born during her scandal...

Tom Hanks Delivering Martinis To His Table At The Golden Globes Proves He's The Nicest Man In Tinseltown!

Posted: 07 Jan 2018 06:55 PM PST

It is a known fact that Tom Hanks is the nicest guy in Tinseltown.

So it's not surprising to learn that The Post actor went out of his way to deliver a tray of martinis to his peers at the Golden Globes. In fact, so many people were moved by the A-lister's gesture that several attendees took to Twitter to document the moment.

Alongside the sweet pic (above), Globes guest Johanna Fuentes wrote:

"Reason number 357 to love Tom Hanks. He not only gets his own drinks, but brings martinis for the whole table. #Globes"

Who needs the help when you've got Hanks, right?? LOLz!

This Is Us showrunner Dan Fogelman added:

We're not crying, YOU ARE. Others weighed in:

James Franco Wins Best Actor In A Motion Picture, Musical Or Comedy, At The 2018 Golden Globes!

Posted: 07 Jan 2018 06:19 PM PST

Congratulations to James Franco!

The Disaster Artist star was named 2018's Golden Globes award winner for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy! As his movie and role were based off the notoriously bad Tommy Wiseau project, The Room, Franco had the Polish filmmaker join him on stage. AH-Mazing!!

James' acceptance speech took another sweet turn when he brought his brother and costar, Dave Franco up on stage with him. *Sniff*

While the 39-year-old was the obvious frontrunner for this category he nabbed the prize away from several A-listers. He beat out Steve Carell, Ansel Elgort, Hugh Jackman, and Daniel Kaluuya.

Way to go, James!!!

This Is AH-Mazing!

On Sunday, Sterling K. Brown was named the winner of the Best Actor In A TV Series, Drama award at the Golden Globes. While this is Brown's first Globe for his role as Randall Pearson in This Is Us, Sterling previously nabbed an Emmy for this same part. Looks like the 41-year-old is doing something right.

Although Sterling was the front runner for this prize, he was up against some serious players. Other nominees in this catgeory included Freddie Highmore (The Good Doctor), Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), and Jason Bateman (Ozark).

Congrats, Sterling! You SO deserved this award.

CONGRATULATIONS, Rachel Brosnahan!

On Sunday, the 27-year-old actress won the Best Actress In A TV Series, Comedy award at the Golden Globes. The brunette stunner was named the winner for her performance in Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Well deserved!

This was honestly a shocking win as Rachel was up against some MAJOR players in her category. Other actresses nominated included Frankie Shaw (SMILF), Alison Brie, (GLOW), Issa Rae (Insecure), and Pamela Adlon (Better Things).
