| Roy Moore Accuser's House Burns Down In Possible Arson Posted: 05 Jan 2018 05:58 PM PST Now, Tina Johnson and her family "have just the clothes on [their] backs." As we reported in November, the Alabama-native became the sixth woman to accuse Judge Roy Moore of sexual misconduct after he allegedly "grabbed" her butt in his law office in 1991. On Tuesday, the grandmother was dealt another blow... her house had burned down. Related: This Republican Senator Donated To Roy's Opposition! According to AL.com, that morning after 8 a.m., the Lookout Mountain Fire Department responded to calls about a fire on Lake Mary Louise Road in Gadsden, Alabama. Unfortunately, by the time the flames were extinguished, Johnson's residence was destroyed. She said Friday:
Fortunately, Johnson and her husband were at work, while her grandson was at school. According to Natalie Barton, public information officer with the Etowah County Sheriff's Department:
Additionally, Johnson's accusations against the Republican do not seem to be related to the potential arson in any way.
Tina and her neighbor Kevin Tallant believe a local young man -- who has a history of public intoxication -- may be a potential suspect as he was allegedly seen around Johnson's house before and during the fire. Tallant said:
Prior to the incident, Tina says a female neighbor was allegedly approached by the suspicious young man who asked her if she thought Johnson's house was going to burn. Johnson and her family are currently living in a motel, and are thankful for the support they are receiving from their neighbors.
