The Maze Runner Star Kaya Scodelario Opens Up About The Alleged Assault She Suffered At 12

Kaya Scodelario refuses to stay silent.

As we reported, during the #MeToo movement in October, The Maze Runner star revealed she was the victim of an alleged sexual assault that happened when she was only 12 years old.

The Skins alum bravely confessed on Twitter:

"It's taken me 13 years to say #MeToo.He is still protected by 'family members' in Brazil. They've told lies to papers to try to silence me... To finally speak out and not be afraid. To everyone still suffering silently, you never asked for it. NOBODY DOES... I do this for my son. So that he will see one day that we all have a voice. And that this behavior can not be tolerated any longer."'

While Scodelario -- who shares a 13-month-old son with husband Benjamin Walker -- says the response to her story "was wonderful," she doesn't want to be defined by this one incident. The actress told Metro.Co.UK:

"The response was wonderful, it was a relief but I am still dealing with it, and I am now dealing with a new side of it, which is this... I will be asked about it forever now. I hope it doesn't define me but it will always be under my name and I accept that – but I am proud I was brave enough to do it and I am grateful for the support I had from friends."

Ultimately, by coming forward with her story, the 25-year-old hopes it will help others going through similar hardships.

"I remember thinking that if I was 12-years-old and I had this horrific thing happen to me but I saw a woman I admired speaking up about it, it would have made me feel less guilty, and it would have inspired me to think 'this won't hold me back, this is something that has happened but I am not a victim'... So I thought if I can do that for one person then I owe it to my 12-year-old self."'

We greatly applaud Kaya, and everyone involved in the #MeToo movement.

Teen Mom 2 Star Kailyn Lowry Backs Out Of Liposuction & Boob Job At The Last Minute!

Kailyn Lowry had a change of heart.

On Tuesday, the Teen Mom 2 star revealed on Twitter she traveled all the way to Miami, Florida to get liposuction and a boob job. However, the reality TV personality backed out of the procedures at the last minute.

The mother-of-three reveals:


Instead of spending money on plastic surgery, Lowry is going to redirect those funds to a nutritionist, and hopes to get back into her fitness routine.


As documented on Snapchat, in January 2016, the MTV diva reportedly had liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a butt lift from surgeon Michael Salzhauer, a.k.a. Dr. Miami.

She has 4-year-old son Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, 7-year-old son Issac with ex Jo Rivera, and 6-month-old Lux with ex Chris Lopez.

We've been saying how dangerous Donald Trump's dictator-like rhetoric against the free press was for over a year now.

And this is the kind of thing that can happen when the President of the United States tells you over and over that the press is all "fake news" and is "the enemy of the American people."

After months of Stalin and Hitler-like (not hyperbole -- look it up!) attacks on news organizations that dared question him, one man who apparently thought he was being a patriot threatened to commit a mass shooting at CNN's Atlanta headquarters.

19-year-old Michigan resident Brandon Griesemer was arrested by the FBI after reportedly calling CNN 22 times, making threats like:

"I'm coming to gun you all down."

and

"I'm smarter than you. More powerful than you. I have more guns than you. More manpower. Your cast is about to get gunned down in a matter of hours."

It's easy to say we can't blame Trump for this, but Griesemer apparently repeated Trump's "fake news" claims during his calls.

And Trump at the very least has joked about committing violence against the news organization, retweeting a meme of him body slamming "CNN" in an edited wrestling video.

At this point, if you still believe everything Trump says, you necessarily have to believe the FBI, CIA, most major news organizations, and every Democrat in America are all part of a massive conspiracy.

April Ryan recently revealed she and the rest of the members of the White House press corps have been routinely getting death threats.

This is the America that Trump is creating. An America attacking itself.

Meghan King Edmonds Is Leaving RHOC After Three Seasons!

Meghan King Edmonds is retiring her orange.

In a blog post shared on Tuesday, the Real Housewives of Orange County star announced she has quit the hit franchise after three seasons. That same day, Bravo confirmed the news.

Jim Edmonds' wife wrote:

"Today is a bittersweet day for me. After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I've decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat."

The 33-year-old admits filming the show "takes a massive emotional toll" as she is forced to relive "trying moments" every time an episode airs.

"As you might suspect filming this show takes a massive emotional toll: I'm literally filming my real life in real time and engaged in situations and circumstances which can be contentious. Then, when the show airs, we relive some of the most trying moments in our lives and then endure the public's reaction; we never come out as winners to every viewer. But what you might not suspect is the physical toll: filming is grueling!"

Ultimately, the expecting mother wants to spend more time with her husband and infant daughter Aspen. As we reported, the reality TV personality is currently pregnant with twin boys!

"I must focus on my family and my pregnancy. I will miss the rush of the first all-cast event of the season, the anticipation of receiving each week's episode, the thrill of wrapping the reunion. I have made soul sisters in Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge and that can't be lost. They have touched my heart and I would do anything for them and I know they feel the same way about me – what a gift to have found that on RHOC! But I guess it's time for me to become an actual real housewife of sorts. Oh, the irony!"

Olympian Shawn Johnson Releases FURIOUS Video Response To The USA Gymnastics Scandal! WATCH!

Shawn Johnson is PISSED.

The 2008 Olympic gold medalist posted her thoughts on the USA Gymnastics scandal, in which dozens of young women were molested by team doctor Larry Nassar, on YouTube Monday.

And they are not even a little bit diplomatic.

On the subject of how the organization could fail to protect so many girls, Johnson says:

"Knowing that USA Gymnastics has failed their athletes so terribly, disappoints me and makes me so incredibly angry. I think the fact that any of this has ever happened shows that USA Gymnastics has failed as a governing body to protect the athletes that it supports and claims to care about. I don't know. This video is so hard for me to make. We've tried to shoot this countless times and I have ended up in tears, I've been angry, I've been confused. Just because there are so many words and so many experiences that I have gone through."

Farrah Abraham Is 'Moving On From' Teen Mom OG After Footage Surfaces Of Fight With MTV Producers! WATCH!

It looks like Farrah Abraham's days on Teen Mom OG are numbered.

Amid reports she may or may not have been fired from the MTV program, on Tuesday, the network released a sneak peek where the controversial reality TV personality clashes with two of her producers.

After berating producer Kristen for "getting in [her] way," the 26-year-old then beefs with executive producer Morgan J. Freeman about how she treats the crew.

Freeman tells the mother:

"I think we want to look into how people are treated. Do you feel like you respect the people around you trying to make the show?... You do have very little empathy and compassion for other people. There has to be respect for our crews and for the producers. The amount of work that goes into keeping you happy with crew has bubbled up to a point where we have to figure if we move forward."

On Monday, the 16 and Pregnant alum wrote a lengthy post on Instagram where she slams MTV, Viacom, and the entire Teen Mom OG staff for making her feel "bullied" and "hurt by all the manipulation."

She also accuses the "sad producers" of "discrimination," "sexual harassment," and for canceling her dating show Single AF as well as limiting her scenes on TMOG.

Abraham is "moving on from this show" as she will "become the best Farrah [she] can be." See the full post (below):

Ann Curry Calls Out Megyn Kelly For Jane Fonda Backlash — 'We Are Better Than This'

Ann Curry addressed the Megyn Kelly/Jane Fonda spat while guest-hosting on The View on Tuesday, and gosh, she is such a gem!!!

The respected reporter called out Megyn for not maintaining a level of journalistic professionalism -- specifically in regards to how the Today personality escalated the controversy surrounding that time she asked the 80-year-old actress about plastic surgery.

Curry said:

"Journalists are not supposed to be the story. We're supposed to be humble. We're supposed to use whatever time we're given to shine a light on other stories. There are so many stories that we're not covering, and to take time with this ... is not journalism."

She added later:

"Not only are we living in a time, but also we're witnessing a certain amount of meanness ... which we should not tolerate. In general, about everything, we are better than this."

Snap, snap.

Joy Behar added her two cents by saying Fonda should have asked Kelly in the original interview:

"And how much work have you had, bitch?"

Ha! She later apologized for the off-the-cuff comment saying:

"I want to apologize to Megyn Kelly — I didn't mean to call her a bitch. I like her, actually. I've met her at parties and I like her. I just think she's struggling for a persona... She doesn't know who she is, and that's the problem."
