On Tuesday night, the American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace star stopped by The Daily Show with Trevor Noah where he opened up about his decision to come out as gay in 2010. Related: Ricky & Jwan Are Inseparable At The Golden Globes Unfortunately, prior to the reveal, the Livin' la Vida Loca singer was advised by close friends to conceal his true identity. The 46-year-old recalls: "I was surrounded by a lot of friends that were telling me 'Don't! Don't come out, it will be the end of your career!'... People that love me, people that mean well, people that were just victims of homophobia."' In addition to his career, some believed coming out would hurt his reputation as a "heartthrob" and "sex symbol." "If you add to that the fact that I was like a heartthrob, like a sex symbol — Everybody was telling me, 'It's going to be the end of your career.' It was extremely painful for me until I said, 'I can't take it anymore. It's all about me now, it's not about what's happening outside. It's about what I need in order to be happy.'" Ultimately, Martin had to do it for his twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, 9. "I had my kids, and I said 'I have to come out. I'm not going to lie to these beautiful kids."' On Thursday, the controversial tv host shared the news of her beloved animal friend's passing on Instagram. Fans of Chelsea Lately and Chelsea knew Chunk well. He was always a welcome addition on his mom's shows, with viewers often feeling like he was a part of their own families. My favorite memory of Chunk is when I was paddle boarding on the Hudson River in upstate NY and he was following me on the shoreline by the trees, and finally jumped in and swam a quarter of a mile to get on my paddle board with me. See, the President's lawyer reportedly paid off the adult film actress to sign a confidentiality agreement when she was about to spill all to the press just before the election -- but she had already told quite a few people before then. We've already heard from her pal Alana Evans and her own 2011 account of the affair. Now Mother Jones did some digging and found even MORE salacious deets in emails between the adult film actress and political operatives. In 2009, the star of Dripping Wet Sex 4 was thinking of challenging Louisiana's David Vitter, an anti-LGBT conservative who was caught up in a sex scandal, with a simple slogan: "Stormy Daniels: Screwing people honestly." Love it. The subject of Trump came up when Stormy showed one of the political advisers a list of potential campaign donors whose phone numbers she happened to have -- a list which also included Larry Flynt's daughter and Jenna Jameson. That adviser sent an email to Democratic consultant Andrea Dubé who was surprised she knew Trump, writing: "Donald Trump? In her cell phone?" The other adviser replied: "Yep. She says one time he made her sit with him for three hours watching 'shark week.' Another time he had her spank him with a Forbes magazine." Wha?? Both Dubé and the unnamed adviser confirmed the emails, which you can see HERE. Mother Jones notes that she spoke about watching Shark Week in her 2011 interview as well.
