Chrissy Teigen & Kristen Bell Offer To Pay McKayla Maroney's Potential $100K Fine For Breaking NDA!

After coming forward with her Doctor Larry Nassar abuse story in October on Twitter, in December 2017, the Olympian filed a lawsuit against USA Gymnastics for unlawfully making her sign a non-disclosure agreement as part of a financial settlement she received to pay for psychological treatment.

According to court papers, the group allegedly insisted on an NDA so "it could further conceal and shield from public scrutiny, outside investigation, and law enforcement, the true nature of Nassar's horrific sexual abuse of minors."

The disgraced physician -- who has already been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison on child pornography possession charges -- faces more jail time after pleading guilty to sexual assault in November.

According to an article written by DailyMail.com, if Maroney speaks at the sentencing hearing -- which begins on Tuesday and will run through Friday -- she could potentially face a $100,000 fine for violating her NDA, despite first breaking it with the aforementioned Twitter post.

In response, both The Good Place creator Michael Schur (under the social media pseudonym "Ken Tremendous") and star Kristen Bell offered to split the costs.


Last month, USAG released a statement accusing Maroney's team of orchestrating the confidentiality terms.

"Contrary to reports, the concept of confidentiality was initiated by McKayla's attorney, not USA Gymnastics. USA Gymnastics cannot speak to the mediation process, which is confidential and privileged under California law... The process culminated in a settlement agreement that included a mutual nondisclosure clause and a mutual nondisparagement clause."

McKayla's lawsuit also seeks damages from the U.S. Olympic Committee, Michgan State University, and Nassar.

Ann Curry FINALLY Opens Up About Her Today Exit: 'It Hurt Like Hell'

After famously leaving Today in 2012, the journalist inadvertently made headlines in November 2017 when her former co-anchor Matt Lauer was fired from NBC News for allegedly engaging in "inappropriate sexual behavior."

At the time, the 61-year-old was "still really processing" the news, as a source claimed she was not "relishing" in Lauer's misery. In case you forgot, Curry was rumored to be fired due to her lack of "chemistry" with the now-disgraced TV personality.

In a People article published on Tuesday, Ann opens up for the first time about her daytime TV exit, five years after it happened.

Though the Guam-native admits the entire ordeal was excruciatingly painful, she has come out of the experience a better, more whole person, saying:

"It hurt like hell... It hurt so much, but I learned a lot about myself. I can say I've done nothing wrong. I've been honest and true. I've tried to stay pure. I've tried to not respond in a knee-jerk manner, and I've stayed very close to who I am. So it hurt, but I'm also proud of myself."

The mother of two -- who is hosting the PBS docuseries We'll Meet Again premiering January 23 -- has also learned to let go of her ego.

"Experience has taught me, as a journalist, the No. 1 thing you have to be is humble... It's not about you."

By overcoming her hardships, Curry has further developed her strength and confidence. As they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

"I'm not going to say it wasn't hard... But I had to let go. And I learned that when you not only let go but open your arms wide and learn the lessons that an experience — no matter how bad — can teach you, that's when you rise... I can say today I'm stronger now... I'm smarter. I'm happier, as happy as I've ever been. And my compassion has only grown. When you go through the pain and learn the lessons, you will be changed for the better."

In her new show, the industry vet is reminded that we all have the power to do good, especially in our current political climate.

"I've always thought of journalism as a service profession... I'm in it to give, not to get. This show lets me explore people's beautiful wishes to reconnect with the people who helped them survive... The power we have to do good and to have compassion lives deep within us all, and I believe it's something we need to be reminded of... There are times we forget it exists, and we may be living in one of those times right now. But the capacity for good is still there. It exists, and it will rise again."

The insider divulges of their romantic reawakening:

Selena Gomez's Mom DEFENDS Speaking Out About Her Daughter's Business!

Nothing worse than seeing a strained mother-daughter relationship!

In recent weeks, there has been SO MUCH drama surrounding Selena Gomez and her mom Mandy Teefey! After Teefey was reportedly hospitalized after getting into an argument about Selena's rekindled romance with Justin Bieber, the two (as of this writing) are no longer mutual Instagram friends. (Teefey follows Selena, but not the other way around.)

Recently, the 41-year-old responded to a fan about her daughter starring in Woody Allen's A Rainy Day in New York, saying she "had a long talk with [Selena] about not working with him and it didn't click."

On Tuesday, in a now-deleted Facebook post, Teefey defends her right to speak out about Selly's affairs, and to "confirm or deny certain stories."

She wrote:

"This is my LAST and ONLY comment in regards to media/comments... I have done nothing but protect my child her entire career against vile people that have way more power than me, even after I was no longer managing because I am her mom."

The Dallas-native also defends her Woody Allen comments as fans and the media "were attacking [Selena's] team" and telling Teefey to make her daughter apologize.

"I was drug through the mud for the entire month of December in the media and did not say a word… I did nothing wrong by defending myself finally and I answered the Woody Allen question because they were attacking her team and telling me to make her apologize... I am a mom first. But, I am also my own person."

Ultimately, the mom is going to do and say whatever she wants, and you can't tell her otherwise.

"I will never not speak my mind if I feel something is off until I die. I will always be her mother."

Mandy also denies doing an interview with Gossip Cop where she was quoted saying she is "not happy" with Jelena's reunion.

Teen Sex Video Leads To Child Porn Charges For Over 1,000 Facebook Users!

Over a thousand Facebook users were surprised this weekend to find they're facing charges of redistributing child pornography!

It all started when a video of two Danish teenagers having sex was shared on FB Messenger last year.

Facebook found the videos and alerted Denmark's National Cyber Crime Center which got in touch with U.S. and European authorities.

A spokesman for Facebook explained the social media site has a "zero-tolerance approach to both non-consensual sharing of intimate images and child exploitation images":

"Our systems run in the background and automatically remove and report intimate content involving children to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, who in turn will review and dispatch the relevant information to the right law enforcement agencies across the globe."

Ultimately it was discovered the two young people in the video were both only 15 years old. While their sexual congress was legal under Danish law, the distribution of a video of anyone under 18 is not.

So anyone who saw the video and shared it was in violation of child porn laws -- 1,004 in total. Alleged offenders were notified via email of the charges and will be facing interrogation this week.

Those charged range in age from 15 to early-20s. Most shared the video once, but some shared it hundreds of times.

Inspector Lau Thygesen of Denmark's North Zealand Police said in a public statement that prosecutors would be looking at each case individually, and that sentences sought would range just an entry on the criminal record to being put on child protection registers for 10 years!
