Liam Neeson Says #MeToo Movement Has Spurred 'A Bit of A Witch Hunt' Against Famous Men

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 05:02 PM PST

Fresh off the heels of one controversy where he awkwardly and unfortunately addressed the gender pay gap, Liam Neeson is back at it again... and it ain't good.

The Commuter star was on The Late Late Show on Irish channel RTE One in an interview that was posted online on Friday in which he makes some questionable remarks about the sexual misconduct allegations that have been levied against a growing number of men in Hollywood.

Neeson -- who has not been accused publicly of anything -- gave his take on the sexual misconduct allegations and the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements sweeping the country by saying (below):

"There is a bit of a witch hunt happening. There's some people, famous people, being suddenly accused of touching some girl's knee or something and suddenly they're being dropped from their program or something. There are Harvey Weinstein stuff, which is...Kevin [Spacey] too, the Dustin Hoffman thing, I, I...I'm on the fence with that. Because when you're doing a play and you're with your family—other actors, technicians, you do silly things, you do silly things, and it becomes kind of superstitious—if you don't do it every night, you think it's gonna jinx the show. I think Dustin Hoffman was...I'm not saying I've done similar things like with what he did, you know, he apparently touched another girl's breasts and stuff, but it's childhood stuff."

Hmmmm...

For Some Unknown Reason, YouTube STILL Wants To Work With Logan Paul…

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 03:58 PM PST

As disgraced a YouTube star as he may be right now, Logan Paul STILL has a shot to get back in YouTube's good graces -- but for what, exactly???

Paul's projects have been placed on hold "indefinitely" with the network, and even though he can still reap ad revenue from people watching his videos, he has been stripped of his Google Preferred status ever since that shameful stunt he pulled in Japan.

Related: Just How Rich IS Logan Paul?

But now, it sounds like even though projects are being pulled away from Logan Paul left and right, YouTube STILL isn't ready to fully part ways with him yet.

That's according to Robert Kyncl, Google's chief business officer speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour on Saturday sounding like he REALLY wasn't ready to let go of Logan Paul:

"We don't know [if we will work with Logan Paul again.] I couldn't really answer that. Everything is evolving so fast and the best thing we can do is make sure we put all projects on hold indefinitely. Actions should speak louder than words. Logan has the opportunity to prove that ... I think, obviously, we believe he's made missteps, unfortunate missteps. He's expressed remorse very quickly. And uh, is learning from the experience."

Unreal.

The very definition of white male privilege... both for Logan, and that always-controversial and possibly racist brother of his, too.

Un. Real.

Paris Jackson Robbed By Hitchhikers In Los Angeles

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 02:40 PM PST

This is no bueno!!!

Paris Jackson tried to help some hitchhikers out on Friday evening by giving them a ride across Los Angeles, but all she got for her trouble was more trouble!!!

The daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson revealed on her Instagram story overnight that she encountered a couple hitchhikers and wanted to help them out.

Photo: Blanket Towers Over Paris & Prince In Rare Jackson Family Pic!

Speaking on video through her Instagram stories, Jackson described how one of the girls was "pretty fucked up" and the 19-year-old felt like she needed to help them out a bit (below):

"So, last night I picked up a couple of hitchhikers and one girl was pretty fucked up. I mean I remember taking out a pair of my own socks and putting them on her and stopping at a fucking fast food place to get them dinner."

Awww! That's so sweet!

Well, sweet until it turned out that the hitchhikers apparently stole her debit card!!!

Jackson continued (below):

"This bitch fucking stole my debit card dude. I gave you guys a fucking ride across L.A. and I do my very, very best to be the best Uber driver ever, even though I'm not a part of Uber and you steal my shit, dude? What the fuck!"

Yeah, definitely no bueno!!!

Jackson seemed to get over it quickly -- later Instagram stories have her out having fun with friends. Hopefully she canceled her debit card first, and her bank can mail her a new one! LOLz!!

Anyways, what a crazy day for Paris.

You live and you learn!!!

Alleged Child Molester Joel Kramer Reacts To Eliza Dushku's Accusation: 'She Has Just Ruined My Career'

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 01:44 PM PST

Fallout is now coming in after Eliza Dushku took to Facebook overnight to detail the horrific story of being molested as a 12-year-old actor working on the film True Lies, and the man she accused -- stuntman and stunt coordinator Joel Kramer -- is denying everything.

Kramer spoke to the New York Daily News this afternoon to vehemently deny all the sexual assault accusations levied against him by Dushku in that Facebook post.

Related: Hollywood Women Call 'Time's Up' On ALL This Bullshit...

For one, he said he was "flabbergasted," and that he was "shaking" because he was so upset about the allegations, all of which he deems to be complete lies.

He said, in part (below):

"It's something I would never do. I don't know where this comes from. I am absolutely floored, she was a sweet kid I am absolutely in shock right now. I don't know why she would do this to me. It is not true."

And Kramer also takes issue with one very detailed portion of Eliza's account, where she describes a ride with him in a taxi. The stuntman claimed he never would've taken a taxi, because the film would've provided him with a car while he was working there.

Kramer recounted (below):

"I was the one driving the car — the company provides me with a car. What the hell is she talking about it. Absolutely crazy. I just don't understand it. Be nice to somebody, treat them good and this is what happens."

There's a very weird tidbit in the piece, too, where Kramer somehow tries to turn the sexual misconduct allegations back around on Dushku. At one point, the stunt coordinator told the Daily News that a set nurse on the film had told him Dushku had a crush on him, and that he "had to be really careful around her."

WTF??

Regardless, Kramer has remained steadfast in denying everything, even going so far as to admit it's likely the end of his career (below):

"I think she has just ruined my career ... what's left of it. I never ever did anything like that to her."

So that's his take.

Dushku is very detailed and credible with hers.

Serious stuff.

Kim Kardashian Confirms She Will Be At Former BFF Paris Hilton's Wedding!

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 12:59 PM PST

Kim Kardashian West and Paris Hilton may go back a looooooooong ways as former best friends, but the relationship has been rocky -- and nearly non-existent at times -- more recently as the two grew up and apart.

But now, it sure sounds like things are on the right track again... and while they may not be as close as they were before, they are going to share an important moment together.

TMZ caught up with Kim and Kanye West in WeHo last night (pictured above) and their photog point-blank asked if they were heading to the wedding.

Kim -- who was otherwise in a pretty quiet mood that evening -- answered in the affirmative: the married couple will be there to celebrate Paris' nuptials to Chris Zylka.

You can watch the whole exchange go down on video HERE. Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!

Paris and Kim are nowhere near as close as they'd been in the past, but people grow up and apart, it happens -- good to see everybody appears to be happy to live out this big moment together!!

Mark Wahlberg Donates All The Money In The World Reshoot Salary To #TimesUp In Michelle Williams' Name

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 12:11 PM PST

After a whole lot of controversy, Mark Wahlberg just stepped up and did the right thing.

The actor had been taking heat after it was initially reported that co-star Michelle Williams was paid less than 1% of what Wahlberg made for re-shoots on All The Money In The World... and after a few days of controversy and hubbub, things were finally made right.

Related: The Deuce Co-Creator Responds To The James Franco Allegations

On Saturday morning, Wahlberg donated his entire $1.5 million salary that he made on the film's reshoots to Time's Up in Williams' name.

Furthermore, his agency, WME, is also donating another $500,000 to cap it at an even $2 million in total. That's nice!!!

Wahlberg said in part about the incident (below):

"I 100 percent support the fight for fair pay and I'm donating the $1.5 million to the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle Williams' name."

OK then!!!

This is a very small gesture surrounded by the much larger issue of the gender pay gap in Hollywood that still needs to get worked out, but at the very least, something was made right in a difficult situation here.

Hawaii Residents Woke Up To A 'Ballistic Missile Threat' This Morning — But It Turned Out To Be A False Alarm

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 10:39 AM PST

This is pretty fucking horrifying... what a thing to wake up to!

Just after 8:00 a.m. local time in Hawaii today, residents who were awake and watching TV got a banner message flying across the screen indicating that U.S. Pacific Command had detected a "missile threat" to the island and that "within minutes" a missile could be landing there.

Um... what?! Is North Korea on the war path???

Related: Celebs Lay Into Trump For His "Shithole Countries" Remark

Thankfully, it turns out that message was just a (very, very deeply disturbing) false alarm. No missiles, people! Just a glitch in the system.

Here's what it looked like in real time on TV in Hawaii (below):

WHOA.

But thankfully, it was very quickly reported that there was NO missile threat to the island, and the message had been sent out falsely (below):

Glad we've taken care of that.

Still, it's pretty unsettling to see the message in the first place. Is that how the nuclear apocalypse will begin? With a message coming across our TV screens as we all sit at home and wait to be blown to bits in the nuclear meltdown?

Something fitting about that.......

Katie Couric Finally Speaks Publicly On Matt Lauer's Firing

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 09:32 AM PST

Well here we go...

Katie Couric has finally come out to speak publicly on Matt Lauer's firing from NBC.

Related: It Took Katie Couric A While To Break Her Silence

Lauer's longtime co-host on the Today show spoke to People, saying (below):

"The whole thing has been very painful for me. The accounts I've read and heard have been disturbing, distressing and disorienting and it's completely unacceptable that any woman at the Today show experienced this kind of treatment. I had no idea this was going on during my tenure or after I left. I think I speak for many of my former colleagues when I say this was not the Matt we knew. Matt was a kind and generous colleague who treated me with respect. In fact, a joke I once made on late-night television was just that, because it was completely contrary to our brother-sister relationship. It's still very upsetting. I really admire the way Savannah [Guthrie] and Hoda [Kotb] and the entire Today show staff have handled a very difficult situation."

Wow.

Thoughts????

Sounds like Katie was just as surprised as the rest of us, even though she worked together with him every day for years.

You buying it?

Let us know in the comments (below).

Eliza Dushku Shares Gut-Wrenching Story Of Being Molested As A Child By Stuntman Joel Kramer

Posted: 13 Jan 2018 08:22 AM PST

This is so, so sad.

Eliza Dushku took to her Facebook page last night to reveal that when she was a 12-year-old child actress working on the set of True Lies, she was molested by the film's stunt coordinator -- a man named Joel Kramer.

The Bring It On actress shared in explicit detail the entire event that happened now 25 years ago in Miami, and it's a haunting and very sad story of which we can only hope there are real-world consequences.

Related: Hollywood Women Call 'Time's Up' On ALL This Bullshit...

In part, Dushku alleged (below):

"When I was 12 years old, while filming 'True Lies', I was sexually molested by Joel Kramer, one of Hollywood's leading stunt coordinators.

Ever since, I have struggled with how and when to disclose this, if ever. At the time, I shared what happened to me with my parents, two adult friends and one of my older brothers. No one seemed ready to confront this taboo subject then, nor was I.

I am grateful to the women and men who have gone before me in recent months. The ever-growing list of sexual abuse and harassment victims who have spoken out with their truths have finally given me the ability to speak out. It has been indescribably exhausting, bottling this up inside me for all of these years."

And she continued, with details about what happened that day in Miami (below):

"I remember, so clearly 25 years later, how Joel Kramer made me feel special, how he methodically built my and my parents' trust, for months grooming me; exactly how he lured me to his Miami hotel room with a promise to my parent that he would take me for a swim at the stunt crew's hotel pool and for my first sushi meal thereafter. I remember vividly how he methodically drew the shades and turned down the lights; how he cranked up the air-conditioning to what felt like freezing levels, where exactly he placed me on one of the two hotel room beds, what movie he put on the television (Coneheads); how he disappeared in the bathroom and emerged, naked, bearing nothing but a small hand towel held flimsy at his mid-section. I remember what I was wearing (my favorite white denim shorts, thankfully, secured enough for me to keep on). I remember how he laid me down on the bed, wrapped me with his gigantic writhing body, and rubbed all over me. He spoke these words: 'You're not going to sleep on me now sweetie, stop pretending you're sleeping,' as he rubbed harder and faster against my catatonic body. When he was 'finished', he suggested, 'I think we should be careful…,' [about telling anyone] he meant. I was 12, he was 36."

Oh. My. God.

It gets worse, though, if you can imagine -- as Dushku writes, Kramer (who literally had her life in his hands while filming stunts for the movie) eventually injured her afterwards in a very suspect situation (below):

"I remember how soon-after, when my tough adult female friend (in whom I had confided my terrible secret on the condition of a trade that she let me drive her car around the Hollywood Hills) came out to the set to visit and face him, later that very same day, by no small coincidence, I was injured from a stunt-gone-wrong on the Harrier jet. With broken ribs, I spent the evening in the hospital. To be clear, over the course of those months rehearsing and filming True Lies, it was Joel Kramer who was responsible for my safety on a film that at the time broke new ground for action films. On a daily basis he rigged wires and harnesses on my 12 year old body. My life was literally in his hands: he hung me in the open air, from a tower crane, atop an office tower, 25+ stories high. Whereas he was supposed to be my protector, he was my abuser."

That is RAGE inducing!!! That an adult man would do any of this two a twelve-year-old girl?!

Eliza continues on, too, sharing her motivation for why she decided to tell her story now -- seeing that Kramer is still working in the industry and potentially preying on young women (below):

"Years ago, I had heard second hand that Joel Kramer was 'found out' and forced to leave the business. I learned recently that in fact he still works at the top of the industry. And a few weeks ago, I found an internet photo of Joel Kramer hugging a young girl. That image has haunted me near nonstop since. I can no longer hide what happened.

Hollywood has been very good to me in many ways. Nevertheless, Hollywood also failed to protect me, a child actress. I like to think of myself as a tough Boston chick, in many ways I suppose not unlike Faith, Missy, or Echo. Through the years, brave fans have regularly shared with me how some of my characters have given them the conviction to stand up to their abusers. Now it is you who give me strength and conviction. I hope that speaking out will help other victims and protect against future abuse."

Amen!!!

Justice still will come down on Kramer, in whatever form that may be, but people are already taking it upon themselves to show their displeasure with the stunt man.

Take, for example, his IMDb bio -- already edited to reflect who this man apparently REALLY is (below):

"Joel Kramer is a known child molester. He repeatedly abused children off set of numerous movies and then left their life in his hands on-set during stunts. Child actors were injured on purpose during stunts or threatened with being injured if they didn't cooperate with the abuse. After rubbing his naked body all over a 12 year old female actor at the age of 36 in a hotel room until he "finished", he then the next day broke her ribs in a stunt accident on the set of True Lies."

It's a small thing, but it's a start -- and people like that deserve the public shame.

Anyways, about the bigger stuff -- it's incredibly brave for Eliza to come out like this. Our thoughts are with her right now during what must be an unimaginably difficult time.

You can read her full, unedited account HERE.

Time's up...
