It’s time to rethink what we consider an Oscar performance

OK, we gotta talk Oscar nominations.

"The Shape of Water" leads the pack with an impressive 13 nods. We're seeing a little forward momentum for inclusion: Greta Gerwig is now the fifth female director to receive an Oscar nomination. Believe me, her film "Lady Bird" is a must-see.

Also, one thing is for sure: The Oscar nods for "Mudbound" place Netflix in the big leagues. More on Oscars below.
