The Miss America Organization CEO has now officially resigned just days after some of his disgusting and sexist emails were revealed to the public. After a very poor initial response by the organization, at least they finally did the right think by forcing Haskell out today!! According to TMZ, Haskell has resigned with his departure effective immediately -- and that's on top of news from literally moments before that COO Josh Randle and chairman Lynn Weidner have also resigned from the Miss America Organization over the horrible, disparaging leaked emails. | Matt Damon's Father Kent Passes Away At 74 After Long Battle With Cancer Posted: 23 Dec 2017 12:41 PM PST Always a very, very tough thing to go through... Matt Damon's father Kent Damon has passed away after suffering from complications related to multiple myeloma, a blood disease that affects bone marrow. He was 74 years old. Video: Harvey Weinstein's Former Assistant Speaks Out On Breaking NDA Kent Damon (pictured above, left, with Matt in the foreground on the right) passed away on December 14, according to reports, though it was only just revealed on Saturday morning by multiple outlets. Kent had been battling cancer for quite a while, and although he had successfully fought it for some time, his condition had apparently worsened in recent months, to the point where he succumbed last week. Matt Damon, of course, has been mired in controversy over the last few weeks after making some unfortunate comments about sexual harassment and misconduct earlier this month. Yup, in 2017, three of Kris Jenner's children practically broke the internet when it was revealed they were expecting. First it was revealed that Kim Kardashian West was having a third baby with Kanye West via surrogacy. Awww! Related: Did Kim K Rip Off Other Designers For Her Kids Line?! Eventually, the happy surrogacy news was confirmed and it was revealed that Kimye were having another little girl. A sister for North West -- too cute! Sources allegedly close to the KUWTK star are reporting to Hollywood Life that the 20-year-old -- who may be pregnant with Travis Scott's baby -- is concerned that her rapper boyfriend may be cheating on her while he's out partying at clubs. | Donald Trump Apparently Believes Haitian People 'All Have AIDS,' According To New NYT Scoop Posted: 23 Dec 2017 11:05 AM PST We already knew this was the case, but... Donald Trump is a fuckin' disgrace. The New York Times has a new, long piece out on Saturday investigating Trump's immigration policies and the effects he's had on immigrants here in America, and there's one HUGE tidbit that stands out in the piece. Apparently, back in June, Trump walked into a meeting about immigration and his travel ban and said some incredibly derogatory things about immigrants coming to the United States from several different countries. Related: Trump's Buddy Roy Moore Can't Stop Stepping On His Own Dick Per the Times, Trump walked into a meeting with senior staffers carrying a sheet of paper that had numbers of how many immigrants had entered America from various countries. Reading from the list, Trump would interject his own bigoted opinions alongside. More than 15,000 people had come to the United States from Haiti, which prompted the President to comment that "they all have AIDS." Almost 40,000 had come to the U.S. from Nigeria, at which point Trump noted that they'd "never go back to their huts in Africa" after seeing America. And more than 2,500 people had come from Afghanistan, the President read, reportedly noting they were probably all "terrorists." What. The. Fuck. This is how the leader of the free world really thinks when he's behind closed doors, y'all. Mad about his immigration ban, The Donald decided to take it out on the least among us -- immigrants, often from impoverished nations -- and apparently he sees nothing wrong with it. His PR flack, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, released a statement on Saturday morning denying that story from June (below):
And yet, multiple sources confirmed the exchange and the following meetings about immigration. And, it continues to fit a pattern of Trump disparaging minorities, immigrants, and pretty much everybody but rich, old, straight white men. Hmmm.
