As of Thursday, the Scarface thespian's new movie The Hangman scored a zero percent critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Other movies with the rare rating include Adam Sandler's The Ridiculous 6, The Nutcracker in 3D, and the Saturday Night Fever sequel Staying Alive. The movie -- which also stars Karl Urban and Brittany Snow -- is about a detective (Pacino) who partners with a criminal profiler to catch a vicious serial killer. It hits theaters on December 22. HuffPost got their hands on three years of internal emails from the Miss America organization, thanks to two inside sources disturbed by what they regularly saw. Now CEO Sam Haskell (above, right) and head writer Lewis Friedman have a lot to answer for. The pizza company announced on Thursday founder John Schnatter, AKA Papa John himself, will be stepping down as CEO after a recent slow patch, followed by some incendiary comments. In case you hadn't heard, Schnatter blamed slow business on the NFL not stopping the players from protesting police brutality by taking a knee during the National Anthem. According to IBTimes (citing local newspaper El Debate de Culiacan), 17-year-old Mexican YouTube star Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales (pictured above) was gunned down in a bar on Monday, December 18. Allegedly, 15 shots were fired inside Mentados Cantaros in Tlajomulco, also injuring the bar manager. It's been reported Rosales had to be identified by his tattoos. However, a report from El Diario says four, not five, people were responsible for the shooting. "El Mencho"), "El Mencho a mí me pela la verga" which translates roughly to "El Mencho, peel my cock." Posted: 21 Dec 2017 03:36 PM PST Apple finally admitted that it uses software updates to slow down the operation of older iPhones, confirming the suspicion of every iPhone user ever. The company responded to the growing horde of frustrated owners who say they notice a slower performance after upgrading their phones' software. The difference was discussed in a Reddit post then highlighted in a Geekbench blog post, putting Apple in the awkward situation of clearing the iCloud. Related: Facebook Announces Pilot Program To Block Revenge Porn In a statement on Thursday, Apple confirmed it has used iOS updates to throttle the CPU speed on older phones -- but only so owners can get "the best experience"! Apple explained that the performance of the phone's lithium-ion batteries can degrade over time, which is why phones suddenly shut down as a way to protect its components. Slowing down the processors, the company claims, makes it easier for these seasoned batteries to perform. They explained:
Apple added that its software updates for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone SE and iPhone 7 are designed to prevent these surprise shutdowns and essentially extend the batteries' lifespan -- but the updates can also cause a lag in performance.
