Netflix Fires Exec Who Unknowingly Spoke To Danny Masterson Rape Accuser At Soccer Game

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 06:53 PM PST

They're dropping like flies...

As we reported earlier this month, according to HuffPost, one of Danny Masterson's four rape accusers went up to Andy Yeatman -- Netflix's director of global kids content -- at a youth soccer match and asked why the entertainment company hasn't acted on the allegations. Masterson was a star and producer for their show The Ranch.

Yeatman, unaware of the woman's identity, responded:

"We don't believe them."

The streaming service later confirmed the exec made the aforementioned comment, and released a statement saying his words "were careless, uninformed and do not represent the views of the company."

On Tuesday, the corporation officially fired Yeatman, according to The Hollywood Reporter sources. A Netflix representative confirmed the news by saying:

"Mr. Yeatman is no longer employed at Netflix."

The axed employee declined to comment.

A day after Yeatman's soccer match comments made news, Masterson was officially fired from The Ranch, and will be written off the show.

Later that day, the That '70s Show alum said he was "disappointed" by the decision, and looks "forward to clearing my name once and for all."

Interracial Teen Couple Assailed With Horrific Racist Comments After Posting Video Of Amazing Gift From Her Family

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 05:56 PM PST

Ugh. Once again, something beautiful ruined by ignorance.

On Saturday, Dallas teen Madison Duke posted a video on Twitter of her family surprising her boyfriend of 11 months with an incredible gift -- a freakin' car!

Chris Hunter is struck speechless by the generosity of the act and proceeds to hug every single family member in a video that's been viewed over 1.5 million times as of this writing.

Ch-ch-check it out (below):

So totally cute and sweet, right?

The million plus views inspired the young couple to start a YouTube channel and post their reaction to watching the viral vid:

Unfortunately, that's where they started to see even more racism than on Twitter!

As someone pointed out to Madison:

Here are just a few of those, in case you can't see:

Madison was taken aback:

Chris was a little less surprised:

So glad they're handling it with strength and not letting it affect their love. It sounds like they have a lot going for them, and have some bright futures ahead!

We're just going to follow their example and not curse out the horrible pieces of shit writing this soulless vitriol -- and instead just remind everyone...

LOVE ALWAYS WINS!

Roman Polanski DENIES Molesting 10-Year-Old Girl In 1975!

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 05:43 PM PST

The controversy surrounding Roman Polanski continues.

As we reported in October, artist Marianne Barnard told The Sun the Rosemary's Baby director "molested" her when she was 10 in 1975 at a photo shoot in Malibu.

Allegedly, the incident happened after her mother disappeared from set, leaving the two of them alone. The model says the experience has caused her to have PTSD and claustrophobia issues.

Not only has Barnard filed an official report with the LAPD's sex crimes unit, she started a petition to have Roman removed from The Academy.

On Tuesday, according to TMZ, the filmmaker's attorney Harlan Braun says the allegations are false, and they have hired their own private investigators to look into the case. Apparently, Marianne's mother wouldn't talk to the PIs, and they've handed over their findings to the LAPD.

Although the case falls outside the statute of limitations (meaning Polanski can't be charged), authorities opened the investigation to potentially find evidence connected to other disputes.

In 1978, Polanski famously fled the United States after pleading guilty to statutory rape against then-13-year-old Samantha Geimer.

Alabama Farmer Protesting Roy Moore In Honor Of Lesbian Daughter Who Committed Suicide

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 03:08 PM PST

It's easy to forget, what with the numerous credible allegations of creeping on teenage girls, that Roy Moore was a well-known trash fire BEFORE those accusers came out.

Not only does he keep heavily implying the U.S. was better off before slavery was abolished, he also thinks homosexuality should be illegal.

Well, one Alabama voter has something to say about that.

Nathan Mathis, a 74-year-old peanut farmer, stood outside Moore's rally Monday night telling the story of his daughter, who he lost to suicide at the age of 23.

As a member of the LGBT community, Patti Sue was one of the people whose existence this man wants to ban.

His story is a sad one, but it's one you need to hear. Watch his tearful statement to reporters (below):

Jessica Chastain Was 'Really Terrified' That Speaking Out Against Sexual Harassment Would Destroy Her Career

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 02:04 PM PST

Standing up to injustice is never easy, but always necessary.

In an interview with the New York Times published on Monday, Jessica Chastain speaks to the publication about the sexual harassment scandals that have been rocking Hollywood.

While the Molly's Game actress -- who recently received a Golden Globe nomination for the role -- is known for being vocal about social issues, the red head admits she was "really terrified" to speak out.

The 40-year-old revealed:

"As an actor, I have a lot of fear, thinking that if I speak my mind, or something that feels like it deviates from the norm as a woman, am I going to be made to disappear in my industry?"

Even with this fear, the Zero Dark Thirty thespian voiced her opinion on Twitter after the NYT published their now-infamous December 11 exposรฉ on Harvey Weinstein.

Luckily, Chastain had a support group who encouraged her to speak the truth, no matter the repercussions.

"I've got a good group of girlfriends on WhatsApp, and I said, 'I'm really terrified I'm destroying my career right now. I wonder if people will still see me as an actress, and want to work with knowing I have these opinions.' In the way that only good girlfriends can do, they helped me eliminate fear and understand that the only way to change something that's wrong is to change it, not ignore it. And rather than saying it's an industrywide issue, it's more than that. It's a societywide issue. We can't ignore farmworkers or women who have been invisible."

Overall, Jessica is proud of the progress society has made, and believes we are entering "a new world."

"It really is a new world. We've been since birth in a society that makes us feel like we're easily replaceable, that we need to be grateful for any work, and grateful for what we have. But what that does is it limit our acknowledgment of the power we have, especially when we work together. It's like what Margaret Mead said. 'Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.' And that's what we're doing."'

As we reported, in an interview with ES Magazine, Chastain refuses to ever "make a movie with Harvey Weinstein" again, and is "not going to get paid a third less than my male co-star who has equal experience."

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Script Leaks Tease A Pregnancy & A MAJOR Death — But Is It Real?

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 01:24 PM PST

Game Of Thrones fans just got a dragon-sized stocking stuffer straight from Westeros...

Season 8 spoilers! Well, potentially.

A mysterious Reddit user allegedly leaked several script pages from the HBO fantasy hit's final season, along with dropping other information he/she claimed to have swiped from a production iPad.

Related: Jason Momoa Says Final Season Of GoT Will 'Fuck Up A Lot Of People'!

It's unclear whether or not these leaked scenes are legit, but if so -- they contain some icy spoilers!

The scenes include Cersei Lannister hatching desperate plan to defeat the White Walkers that are closing in on King's Landing, along with a nice exchange between Tyrion Lannister and Bronn that contains one BIG spoiler: the death of Jaime Lannister!

The supposedly leaked script pages have the same format as season 7's script leaks, and possess David Benioff and D.B. Weiss's writing style. We should also note this is coming from same source as last season's leaks, which turned out to be the real deal.

Related: Emilia Clarke Hits Back At Nudity Naysayers

The anonymous insider, who passed on the info to a slightly skeptical Thrones subreddit moderator, dropped a few more gems about the upcoming season before deleting his/her account.

Additional spoilers include the deaths of a few minor characters and a major pregnancy! Check out more info from the leaker (below):

"Currently, there's filming going on about Winterfell/the battle that takes place at Winterfell in 802 and 803, though there are sets that will double for other Northern castles. Also some scenes (or one scene, I don't think it's in the season that much) at Pyke.

Isaac [Bran] hasn't filmed much, some scenes with Sam and Jon in what I imagine are the first few episodes. I know for a fact he at least makes it to Episode 5.

Dany is definitely pregnant. Emilia Clarke's really happy about that.

Pretty sure Podrick dies. I know Tormund dies. Also there's some scenes with one of the Northern lords (I forget his name) fighting at his castle. I assume he's a goner. And Bronn casually mentions Jaime's death in that one page, so…

There were some redacted pages in the iPad, by the way, what I assume are really important stuff. A couple of pages after pg40 in 805 are not there, just have that little [omitted] at the top. And it's not an omitted scene, because the pages after the [omitted]'s have nothing to do with what came before."

Sounds legit to us! A Jon/Dany baby is the perfect excuse for the two to share the Iron Throne.

As for all the deaths... well, what else would we expect?
