County Dept. of Children and Family Services has gone to court to determine if Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's daughter Dream Kardashian is safe. Video: Chyna Joins Nicki Minaj In Yo Gotti's Rake It Up Video! According to a source, the DCFS are concerned about Chyna's alleged drug use, and how it affects the baby's wellbeing. The case is also related to the former stripper's restraining order against the KUWTK star in July, after she accused him of cyberbullying and physical abuse. We are so sick of his antics! Over the weekend, Florida was hit hard by Hurricane Irma where winds up to 130mph damaged several properties in the southeastern state. On Sunday, right-wing journalist Milo Yiannopoulos wrote on Facebook that his house was destroyed by the horrific storm. According to the Miami Herald, the property that's the subject of the photo belongs to Gerard Duhart, who evacuated with his family three days before the catastrophe. Even if it was Yiannopoulos' property, you probably shouldn't feel bad for him. He posted the following offensive message last week: Some people never learn... Stephen King Thinks It's 'Fascinating' People Still Care So Much About The Child Gangbang Scene In IT! Posted: 11 Sep 2017 05:54 PM PDT First, in case you weren't aware, yes, there is an underage gangbang scene in the novel It. Obviously it was left out of the 1990 TV miniseries, and once again you don't have to worry about it being in the new hit Hollywood film. But um, why the eff does it exist in the first place?? Basically, after defeating the evil clown, the Losers' Club find themselves lost in the sewers. So Bev, the sole girl in the group, decides they all have to lose their virginity together to regain their closeness as a group and find a way out. Related: IT Remake — What Critics Are Saying! Obviously, that makes NO sense out of context (or even in context), but suffice to say ultimately the scene is a metaphor for the transition of the children to adulthood. Author Stephen King explained on a comment board on his website back in 2013: "I wasn't really thinking of the sexual aspect of it. The book dealt with childhood and adulthood –1958 and Grown Ups. The grown ups don't remember their childhood. None of us remember what we did as children–we think we do, but we don't remember it as it really happened. Intuitively, the Losers knew they had to be together again. The sexual act connected childhood and adulthood. It's another version of the glass tunnel that connects the children's library and the adult library. Times have changed since I wrote that scene and there is now more sensitivity to those issues." Have times really changed that much? We feel like there was always sensitivity to the issue of child orgies, even in 1986 when the novel came out; there was just less social media through which people could share their feelings of disgust at the scene. As the new film was coming out, and wisely eschewing any mention of the group sex, King was asked again about the scene and his previous comment. He told Vulture simply: "To it I'd just add that it's fascinating to me that there has been so much comment about that single sex scene and so little about the multiple child murders. No one is implicitly giving the thumbs up to child murder because they aren't up in arms about the child-eating monster killing kids. He's the bad guy. The evil. He's supposed to kill and eat kids. No, what a great many readers over the years have taken issue with is the idea that a bunch of 11-year-olds would do that were they not puppeteered by a twisted adult author. We mean, the scene is multiple pages of detailed description of preteen gangbang. Its very existence is more than troubling. We're just glad everyone involved in every aspect of the film (even the infamously more violent leaked Cary Fukunaga script) had the sense to do what King's editors couldn't and cut that shit out. Hellboy IS Replacing Ed Skrein With An Asian American Actor! Posted: 11 Sep 2017 04:33 PM PDT Looks like this is one example of whitewashing that's actually getting cleaned up! Two weeks ago, Brit hunk Ed Skrein gracefully (and very publicly) dropped out of Hellboy after being informed the role he had taken was half Japanese in comics. Ed's unprecedentedly selfless move had a lot of eyes on the project, so producers were forced to find a more appropriate choice. According to multiple outlets, the Korean-American actor, who recently made headlines for leaving Hawaii Five-0 over not being paid as much as his costars, is in talks to replace Skrein as Major Ben Daimio. Daniel is a strong corrective choice for the role both in being the correct race (though not nationality) AND because he's a longtime advocate for diversity in TV and film. Selena Gomez Opens Up About The 'Lonely Journey' To Fame & Figuring Out Her Mental Health Issues Posted: 11 Sep 2017 03:31 PM PDT Everyone wants to be a friend when you're Selena Gomez. But despite knowing everyone, the superstar admitted to having only "like three good friends" in her circle! (Wait, what? Is Taylor Swift one of these three? Nvm, now's not the time!) In an interview with The Business of Fashion, the 25-year-old spoke on having to weed out a lot of people in her life to get where she is today. Though the Bad Liar songstress wasn't speaking on the price of fame, but about the "lonely" road to figuring out her mental health issues. Looking back on the year she took off, Selly recalled how a "huge fog lifted from my life" after gaining a better understanding of where her frustrations stemmed from -- but also made sure to point out her inward journey was a isolating one: "It's a lonely journey to really figure out where all this stuff is coming from. And to detach from it. It becomes an addiction, it becomes a habit, retraining your mind to not go to these negative places when you say something wrong, do something wrong, when you wear a certain thing or represent a certain culture. But it is lonely, I had to lose a lot of people in my life to get there." All that alone time seemed to be worth it, seeing how vocal the actress has become about her anxiety, panic attacks, and depression related to her lupus complications. As for how others struggling with mental health can seek guidance, Gomez suggested: "Ask somebody you respect. I asked teachers, coaches, managers, people that I respected [because of] the way they've lived their life. I asked them, 'How did you get to this place? What were you like when you were 25? What were the things that you were thinking about?' And then from there, being with like-minded people. You are who you surround yourself with — 100 percent. If you're around people who think that stuff is dumb, that think it's ridiculous — 'You're crazy! You're fine!' — but you don't feel that way, then maybe it's time to reevaluate that." Selly also noted the importance of having people you can be open and honest with in your life -- and how a few close friends is better than countless acquaintances. She continued: "You have to figure out the people that are in your circle. I feel like I know everybody but have no friends. I have like three good friends that I can tell everything to, but I know everyone. I go anywhere and I'm like, 'Hey guys, how's it going?' And it feels great to be connected to people, but having boundaries is so important. You have to have those few people that respect you, want the best for you and you want the best for them.
