That's because, during this time of year, the internet is flooded with HIGHlarious promposals from teenagers looking for A-listers to be their plus ones. No joke! Most recently, Emma Stone made headlines when she responded to one teen's AH-Mazing La La Land themed promposal. While the Oscar winner was unable to accept the invite to the dance, she did offer up the HIGHEST compliment one could give -- she compared the teenager to Ryan Gosling. Which means it's that time of the year when (predominately white) college fraternities like to throw festive, Mexican-themed parties full of racist costumes and the occasional brown face! Related: Alexander McQueen Slammed For Cultural Appropriation! Well, Baylor University got an early start on the cultural appropriation over the weekend when Kappa Sigma fraternity threw a "Mexican-themed" party -- a party that caused so much outrage, it sparked a student-led protest on campus. Students who attended the Saturday night event wore sombreros and serapes, images of which circulated on Twitter and led to an outcry of minority students:
Other partygoers wore even more racially insensitive costumes, according to student reports, dressing up as construction workers, maids, and even wearing brown faces. Some of the more politically-savvy offenders chanted "Build that wall," in reference to their leader Donald Trump's literally divisive campaign promise that America will end up paying for. Related: How To Not Be Offensive At Coachella! The Waco, Texas university responded to the controversy on Sunday. Vice President for Student Life Kevin Jackson called the party "deeply concerning" in a statement, writing:
As for Kappa Sigma's headquarters, the national fraternity said "it has suspended operations of the Baylor chapter while an investigation in cooperation with the university is carried," saying in a statement:
As an investigation goes underway, students have taken the issue into their own hands. On Monday, the university's NAACP chapter and LatinX Coalition hosted an on campus protest in response to the party. Amongst those voicing outrage on social media included a few people defending the culturally insensitive event, saying "all people did was dress up...for a cinco de mayo party." Of course, those people were properly schooled by others who have been subjected to their culture being reduced to offensive stereotypes their entire lives:

| Fox News' Co-President Bill Shine Is OUT Amid Network's Sexual Harassment Controversy! Posted: 01 May 2017 01:27 PM PDT Another Bill bites the dust. On Monday, it was announced that longtime exec Bill Shine's services as co-president were no longer needed at Fox News. Maybe Bill O'Reilly will make room for him on his stupid podcast that no one is listening to? Rupert Murdoch briefly relayed the news about Shine -- who has been with the network since its inception in 1996 -- saying in an email to the staff:
Related: Caitlyn Jenner Says She's 'Disappointed' In Trump The 21st Century Fox and Fox News executive chairman went on to say that Suzanne Scott will be promoted to president of programming and Jay Wallace will serve as to president of news following Shine's departure. As you may be aware, Shine was often considered Roger Ailes' "right-hand man," and many believed he played a role in covering up all those sexual harassment allegations before Ailes' ultimate departure. And if you think the right-wing network is just cleaning house... both Scott and Wallace have been with the company since the very beginning and also worked closely with the defamed Ailes. Still, this is just another big exit to rock Fox News' world and we are living for it! Fingers crossed having Scott in charge will truly change the horrifying culture over there at FNC. Thoughts??? | Donald Trump Is Pulling The Plug On Michelle Obama's Let Girls Learn Initiative — How Awful! Posted: 01 May 2017 01:10 PM PDT Wow, Donald Trump must really hate women. On Monday, it was revealed that the Trump administration is officially discontinuing the girls' education program set up by Michelle Obama during her tenure as First Lady. How awful! Back in 2015, Let Girls Learn was launched in order to help facilitate educational opportunities for young girls in developing nations. However, according to an internal document obtained by CNN, LGL is ceasing operation immediately. Apparently, some aspects from the program will remain, but employees for the initiative have been ordered to stop referring to the organization as Let Girls Learn. Related: Trump Angrily Ends Interview Over Obama Wiretap Question! Agency director Sheila Crowley wrote to Peace Corps workers:
Damn. Where was Ivanka Trump when this decision was made?? Didn't she vow to protect women's interests in the White House?? Shame on her and her father. Ironically, this update came on the same day Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue visited an elementary school in order to announce changes in the former First Lady's National School Lunch Program. While he didn't reveal specifics, the Secretary did reveal that the change would provide "regulatory flexibility for the National School Lunch Program." Huh. Something tells us pizza sauce is about to be considered a vegetable again. Let's take a moment of silence for all of Mrs. Obama's hard work being flushed down the toilet. Sorry, girl!
