Unforgettable Was Entirely Forgettable At The Box Office As The Fate Of The Furious Dominates AGAIN!

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 04:37 PM PDT

What a weird weekend at the box office!

We knew The Fate Of The Furious was going to keep doing well, so let's get that one out of the way first, because the numbers continue to be staggering: in its second weekend out in theaters, Furious 8 did $38.7 million, which gives it a domestic ten-day total now at $163.6 million!

Wow!

Related: Review Roundup! Here's What Critics Say About Furious 8!

Globally, the film is doing even better, with a $908.4 million haul globally, including an unheard-of $318 million in China alone, making it quite literally one of the most popular movies in the history of the world!!!

But that's not really where the story was, as it instead centers on two MASSIVE flops: Unforgettable and The Promise.

Unforgettable, starring Katherine Heigl, opened at just $4.8 million, which is a career worst for the actress. There's good news here -- the film only cost $12 million to make -- but there's no question that's a REALLY bad opener for a film with higher expectations and some star power (Rosario Dawson and Geoff Stults in addition to Heigl).

The other big bust at the box office was Christian Bale's new move The Promise, a film about the Armenian genocide that cost an astounding $100 million to make and brought in just $4.1 million in its first weekend out in theaters.

The entire film was financed by one man -- the late Kirk Kerkorian, who was of Armenian descent -- and producers are pushing it as a win for the awareness surrounding Armenian genocide, but there's no question the film itself, from a business standpoint, was a massive flop in theaters.

Two more minor films also opened in theaters this weekend, too: Phoenix Forgotten ($2 million opener from 1,592 theaters), and Free Fire ($1 million from 1,070 theaters).

Neither one of those movies were expected to be anywhere near as big as Unforgettable or The Promise, but each was expected to do better than they did. Oops.

Tough weekend at the box office?!

Maybe... or maybe it's just The Fate of the Furious' world... and we're all just livin' in it!!!

CNN Host Alisyn Camerota: I Was Sexually Harassed By Roger Ailes At Fox News

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 02:51 PM PDT

And now, another shoe drops on the ongoing controversies surrounding Fox News.

TV host and journalist Alisyn Camerota has come out on Sunday revealing that she was sexually harassed by Roger Ailes during her time working for the network, and she revealed it all in a tell-all interview with Brian Stetler on CNN's Reliable Sources.

Related: Sarah Palin Won't Answer Whether She Was Sexually Harassed

Speaking frankly in a very serious sit-down interview, Camerota recounted her tale of Ailes trying to get, um, closer to her during her work for the network.

Camerota said, in part:

"It feels as though, if I take the Murdochs at their word, they really want to know what was wrong there and what the culture was like. Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me."

Wow.

Now, for Ailes' part, his attorney Susan Estrich completely denied the account, saying:

"These are unsubstantiated and false allegations. Mr. Ailes never engaged in the inappropriate conversations she now claims occurred, and he vigorously denies this fictional account of her interactions with him and of Fox News' editorial policy."

Camerota worked at Fox for more than a decade, and worked specifically with Ailes to a large degree during her tiem on air.

She noted how there was more than one aspect to Ailes' personality and work at the network:

"Let me be clear. Roger Ailes was -- could be charming. He could be quite charismatic. He could be uproariously funny. He could also be a bit of a bully, and mean. And he also was often kind of grossly inappropriate with things that he would say, and I think that many of us experienced that. He would talk about body parts. He would say 'Give me a spin.' He would want to be greeted with a hug. But the time that I remember most. was when I was first starting out at Fox and I was single, and I remember Roger, being in Roger's office, and I was saying that I wanted more opportunity. He said 'Well, I would have to work with you. I would have to work with you on that case. I would have to work with you really closely, and it may require us getting to know each other better, and that might have to happen away from here, and it might have to happen at a hotel. Do you know what I'm saying?' And I said 'Yeah, I think I do know what you're saying.'"

WOW!!!

Watch how that ended, and the entire disturbing segment, on Camerota's interview with Stetler about all this (below):

Sickening!!!

Good thing Ailes is gone.

Let's just hope some way, somehow, all these women have piece of mind at some point after these traumatic experiences.

This is so awful!

News is just coming in that Kim Zolciak-Biermann's son Kash, 4, was bitten by a dog at some point on Saturday night, with "traumatic injuries" so extensive, it required multiple hours of surgery afterwards.

Kim posted a pic to her Instagram account a couple hours ago (below) explaining the incident and Kash's touch-and-go recovery from the horrific event:

I don't know where to start. The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare. My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I've never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life. My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled together and held each other up. Kash was in the operating room for a couple hours and now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery. Due to this I will not be on WWHL tonight but will do my best to make it up very soon! Thank you for all your prayers and most importantly Thank you God for your protection ❤️ A very special Thank you to my incredible medical team! A few days in the hospital and we will be back home ❤️A post shared by Kim Zolciak-Biermann (@kimzolciakbiermann) on Apr 23, 2017 at 10:52am PDT

So, so scary.

Kim's full caption explaining what happened a bit, as well as the fact that Kash will hopefully recover despite serious injuries (below):

Wow.

It's difficult to imagine anything more scary than something like this happening to your child.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as they rally around Kash -- hopefully he'll be back to normal in no time, but at the very last, it sounds as tough he'll be home somewhat soon.

So scary!

Fox News Is About To Get Hit With A MASSIVE Racial Discrimination Lawsuit And We Are SO Here For This

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 11:41 AM PDT

Shit is about to get A LOT worse over at Fox News, and it couldn't happier to a shittier cable news network.

Even though Bill O'Reilly may be gone, and Roger Ailes, too, it's not just a rampant culture of sexual harassment that went down at the network for years: it was also horrible, disgusting racism.

Who could have guessed that?!

Related: Sarah Palin Avoids Questions About Treatment At Fox News

Seven employees are on the verge of joining a racial discrimination suit against the network that was filed last month by two colleagues, according to media reports out Sunday morning.

According to sources, at some point next week, these seven black employees will join up to get nine total Fox News workers in a lawsuit filed against Fox itself and the network's longtime comptroller Judy Slater.

The suit holds that Slater subjected payroll staff to racial insults for years!!! Slater herself was fired in February when the original suit was filed, but things are about to get a LOT worse at Fox.

That's because Fox's accounting director, Tammy Efinger, is also at issue in the suit, after she allegedly participated in Slater's racist behavior and failed to reprimand the comptroller in any way.

A letter from the lawyers filing the suit on behalf of these employees reads:

"Not once did Ms. Efinger step in or attempt to interfere with Ms. Slater's outrageous conduct. Ms. Efinger chose to laugh or giggle following Ms. Slater's vitriol."

Wow.

It goes further than that, though, with brand new allegations that Slater used to demand that black employees hold "arm wrestling matches" in her office:

"Forcing a black woman employee to 'fight' for the amusement and pleasure of her white superiors is horrifying. This highly offensive and humiliating act is reminiscent of Jim Crow era battle royals."

No kidding.

This whole network sounds crazy!!!!

Just how deep does this disgusting Fox News culture go?!?!

Get 'em off the air!!!

Kylie Jenner Flees Las Vegas Appearance After Protesters Call Her Out For Wearing Fur!

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 10:39 AM PDT

Protesters and the Kardashian family haven't really seen eye-to-eye lately -- or ever -- and it's not just Kendall Jenner taking heat!

Last night in Las Vegas, Kylie Jenner was attending the grand opening of Sugar Factory (pictured at the event above) when she paused for photos on the red carpet at the event... and promptly got "bum rushed" by protesters!!!

Related: Kylie + Travis Scott = True Love?!

There's a context here, of course: the protesters were animal rights activists, and they were there specifically to heckle and shout down Kylie over her stance on wearing fur.

They screamed that Kylie had "blood on [her] hands" as the exasperated reality TV star clearly looked annoyed and disheveled.

As you'll see above, she wasn't wearing any fur to the event, but this was a pre-planned thing and the activists wanted to make it clear that it wasn't cool for her to sport fur in the past.

The protesters didn't physically touch Kylie, but they were VERY loud -- and it all happened so quickly and so strongly, it forced Miz Jenner to cut her photo set short and flee for cover!

Instagram Model's Fake Pregnancy Claims Were SO Pathetic, Drake Took Pity And Avoided Legal Action!

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 09:42 AM PDT

All week we've been reporting on the interesting case of Layla Lace, an Instagram model who posted alleging that Drake had knocked her up and then ghosted her.

The entire thing turned out to be false, though, and Lace quickly went private on IG after scrubbing all the posts and getting called out by everybody.

That's kinda sad... especially to do something like fake a pregnancy just to get attention!

Related: Drake Puts Country Club On Blast For 'Racial Profiling'

But what may end up being even more pathetic is the aftermath: according to TMZ, Drake's team is taking pity on Lace's ridiculous bid for attention, and they aren't going after her in any legal way for the ridiculous lies she blasted out.

Rumors had been circling that Drake's team threatened her with a lawsuit unless she removed the posts, and all these other legal rumblings, but well-connected sources now say that not only has Drizzy never met her, his team has never even been in contact.

They basically believe what we all have come to know: she just did it for attention, and it was such a pitiful attempt, well, here we are now.

Not a great look, Layla Lace. Not a great look at all.

What is life?!

Bill O'Reilly Announces Return To The Air Waves Tomorrow — Already?! Can We Have, Like, One Fucking Week Without This Guy??

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 08:49 AM PDT

Apparently, it's too much to ask to get even a short breather free from an (alleged!) serial sexual harasser.

Bill O'Reilly will return to the air waves on Monday -- granted, it's just his podcast, which is far from the expansive reach of Fox News, but still. Fuck!

Related: Blake Lively Goes Off On Sexist Red Carpet Question

The TV host and, um, highly controversial figure has been finally and fully ousted from The O'Reilly Factor and primetime TV on the cable channel, but that's not going to stop him from bringing back his No Spin News podcast.

According to THR, the first episode is set to air tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. ET, and from there Bill will just... keep doing what he does, apparently.

And the rest of us can't get a fuckin' week or two without his "no spin" bull shit. One week! We don't ask much!

At least this podcast has far smaller reach than his old cable show, and it won't be available to anyone except his own subscribers.

Related: Steve Bannon Once Called Megyn Kelly 'The Devil'!

This will be opposite Tucker Carlson's first show done in O'Reilly's place -- one hour later on Monday evening -- with Caitlyn Jenner joining that broadcast on Fox News for a big interview...

The times, they are a-changin'.

Happy Days Cast Remembers Erin Moran, Who Died Last Night At Just 56 Years Old

Posted: 23 Apr 2017 07:57 AM PDT

Still shocked from Erin Moran's death late last night.

The former Happy Days star, who famously played Joanie Cunningham on the show as well as its famous spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi, has died.

She was just 56 years old.

Cops in Indiana got a call on Saturday afternoon with a report of an "unresponsive female" -- and by the time EMTs arrived to the scene, the woman was found dead. Cops later confirmed it was the former TV star's body.

Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, other former co-stars and countless fans and admirers were still reeling from the news as of Sunday morning, too, with many sharing messages of condolences for Moran (below):

So sad.

And everybody else was just as torn up about the sudden, unexpected death, too (below):

Just awful.

R.I.P., Erin.
