Patricia Arquette Remembers Her Late Sister Alexis And Calls Out Attorney General Jeff Sessions In Moving GLAAD Media Awards Speech

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 03:59 PM PDT

This is so moving!

Patricia Arquette accepted GLAAD's Vanguard Award last night at the organization's 28th annual Media Awards, and during her moving acceptance speech, she paid tribute to her late sister Alexis, who passed away due to AIDS complications in September.

Patricia didn't hold her emotions back in a very moving speech, and in it, she even called out Attorney General Jefferson Sessions for his lack of apparent care about LGBT and transgender victims of violent crime.

Here, watch her whole speech in full while accepting the award (below):

Very, very touching -- and very well-said all around by Patricia Arquette.

The Los Angeles Times Just Completely Shit On 'Our Dishonest President' Donald Trump And OMG You Have To Read This

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 03:19 PM PDT

Newspapers are not fuckin' around any more.

The Los Angeles Times went IN on Donald Trump today with an editorial board piece that trended most of the day and honestly had us just dropping our jaw in amazement reading it.

Related: Trump Loses Again! So Much Losing! Sad!

Sure, having an opinion about the (terrible) job Trump is doing is one thing, but the Times goes way, way further than that.

Like this, a particularly damning passage early in the piece:

"What is most worrisome about Trump is Trump himself. He is a man so unpredictable, so reckless, so petulant, so full of blind self-regard, so untethered to reality that it is impossible to know where his presidency will lead or how much damage he will do to our nation. His obsession with his own fame, wealth and success, his determination to vanquish enemies real and imagined, his craving for adulation — these traits were, of course, at the very heart of his scorched-earth outsider campaign; indeed, some of them helped get him elected. But in a real presidency in which he wields unimaginable power, they are nothing short of disastrous."

Wow.

Or this, later on in their work, the first in a series of pieces that'll run throughout the week on The Donald:

"But if it is to do so, those who oppose the new president's reckless and heartless agenda must make their voices heard. Protesters must raise their banners. Voters must turn out for elections. Members of Congress — including and especially Republicans — must find the political courage to stand up to Trump. Courts must safeguard the Constitution. State legislators must pass laws to protect their citizens and their policies from federal meddling. All of us who are in the business of holding leaders accountable must redouble our efforts to defend the truth from his cynical assaults."

Wow, again.

Jaws... dropped.

Read the entire thing HERE -- and maybe stick around looking for more, because the Times is set to release three massive things over the next three days.

Federal Judge Rules Lawsuit Can Proceed Against Donald Trump For Inciting Violence At Campaign Rally!

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 02:31 PM PDT

Things just keep getting worse for Donald Trump!

The President is now facing down a lawsuit claiming that he incited violence during a 2016 campaign rally in Louisville, Kentucky -- and on Friday, a federal judge ruled that yes, that lawsuit CAN proceed!

Related: And Yet Trump Is TERRIFIED Of The Media!

The incident in question came down at a rally in Louisville in March of 2016, when Trump yelled "get 'em out of here" at an event where protestors had filled the crowd.

The protestors brought a suit against Trump, his campaign, and three of its Kentucky supporters -- claiming that his incitement had cause Trump supporters at the rally to then attack them.

The judge, David J. Hale, wrote in his decision to allow the lawsuit to proceed:

"It is plausible that Trump's direction to 'get 'em out of here' advocated the use of force. Unlike the statements at issue in the cases cited by the Trump Defendants, 'get 'em out of here' is stated in the imperative; it was an order, an instruction, a command."

Well there you go -- Trump himself may never see the inside of the courtroom on this one, but it's just another lawsuit affecting the President (remember his Trump University settlement?!) when he already has a TON of problems of his own.

For what it's worth, one of Trump's lawyers said that the supporters named in the lawsuit were not acting n behalf of the then-candidate.

And yet still, the lawsuit proceeds.

Inneresting!!

Tina Fey Calls Out College-Educated White Women Who Voted For Donald Trump: 'It's Going To Affect You Eventually'

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 12:33 PM PDT

Preach, Tina Fey, Preach!!!!!

The star spoke on Saturday night at a benefit for the American Civil Liberties Union, and in her speech to the crowd there, she wasn't making jokes as much as she was calling out people who may have thoughtlessly supported Donald Trump during the 2016 election.

And those people she called out?! White, college-educated women. Yep -- Tina went after them HARD.

Related: Donald Trump -- April's Real Fool

In hers peech, Fey said about white women who may have voted for Trump:

"A lot of this election was turned by white, college educated women who now would maybe like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV. I would want to urge them to like, you can't look away. It doesn't affect you this minute but it's going to affect you eventually."

Whoa!!!

That is NOT holding back at all, but you know what?! We love it!

You should call out people who voted against their self-interests in a situation as dire as this, and it's only a matter of time until white, college-educated women are affected by Trump just like all the rest!

Mel B's Ex Downed By Feds Because His Brother Bragged About Guns!

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 10:40 AM PDT

Now we're starting to learn more about Stephen Belafonte's little run-in with the feds over the possibility of illegal firearms...

As you'll remember from yesterday, we reported on Mel B's ex dealing with a scary ATF shakedown after he was allegedly in possession of illegal firearms -- and apparently, the ATF wasn't able to find anything.

Related: Mel Makes A Public Appearance Without Her Wedding Ring!

Apparently now, it has been revealed that Belafonte was in the crosshairs in the first place because his own brother was bragging about Belafonte owning a gun he wasn't allowed to own!

It all started with the ATF going to a judge last week and asking for a warrant based on the brother's comments, and the fact that Stephen was apparently convicted of domestic violence in 2003. (He allegedly got into a drunken fight with the mother of his child, according to TMZ.)

As part of the deal in his conviction, Belafonte is no longer allowed to own firearms -- which would make his brother's bragging a big deal as far as the ATF is concerned.

And yet, as we reported, nothing was apparently found in the search of Belafonte's home.

Hmm.

Regardless, Mel B is long gone from this relationship... and it sounds like it's not a moment too soon.

The Boss Baby Is The BIG Boss Of The Box Office This Weekend — Even Taking Down Beauty And The Beast! Wow!

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 09:34 AM PDT

Who saw this coming?!

The Boss Baby has firmly taken the top slot through this weekend's box office totals, marking a big opener for the animated DreamWorks film, and even going so far as to knock Beauty and the Beast out of the top spot at the box office!

Video: See Amber Heard Get Super In First Trailer For Justice League

Starring Alec Baldwin, The Boss Baby must appeal to moviegoers in some kind of way, because it pulled in an early estimate $15.5 million across North American box offices on Friday alone, with the foundation laid for what forecasters expect will be a full weekend of more than $50 million in ticket sales!

WOW!!!

That means it's the most popular movie in America this weekend!

Beauty and the Beast had taken in $13 million on Friday, and was on pace for $48 million through the end of the weekend -- not a bad total by any means, but certainly a little short of the unexpected, animated winner of the weekend!

As for other new releases, Paramount's Ghost In The Shell -- starring Scarlett Johansson -- took in just under $10 million on Thursday and Friday alone, and was on pace for a weekend total right around $20 million.

Sorry Angela Kardashian — After Losing The Legal Battle, You're Forever Stuck As Blac Chyna!

Posted: 02 Apr 2017 08:49 AM PDT

Too bad, so sad, Blac Chyna!

The on-again, off-again love of Rob Kardashian hit a wall this week because according to TMZ, the legal news has come back, and BC can NOT become Angela Kardashian or use the last name Kardashian in any way for business and branding!

Wow -- score one for Kris Jenner and the legal team behind the K-fam's mastermind businesswoman.

Related: Are Rob And BC Back Together Again, Or, What?!?!

If you remember, BC had been trying to use the name Angela Kardashian, and then profit off it, but the K-fam wasn't too wild about all that.

So, they blocked her in court, filing legal docs to stop it -- and now we've learned a judge has ruled that Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney have won... no Angela Kardashian for Miz Chyna!

BC didn't respond to any legal moves lately, too, which signals she's fine in dropping this battle and moving on with something else.

Who knows if this will impact her plans to marry Rob... one can only imagine... yes, maybe?!?!

We'll see.

Related: Chyna Thinks Rob & Tyga Are In Cahoots

But at least now, Kardashian fans, you can rest assured that the "brand" won't be "diluted" by a new Kardashian woman.

...or something.

Thoughts???
