A London mother just wanted her daughter to grow up thinking there was nothing wrong with her healthy, puffy Afro. So she found a way to put up a larger than life positive image. Ginger Sprouse first noticed Victor Hubbard on the corner of El Camino Real and Nasa Road 1 in Kemah, Texas, in late 2016. She found out that Hubbard, who suffers from a mental illness, had been standing in the same spot his mother left him in for the past three years. He waited each day for her to return. Comedian Robin Cloud hopes her debut short film, “Out Again,” inspires audiences to “make stronger connections, deepen their love, and ― when needed ― find forgiveness.”
