| Todd Fisher Says Mom Debbie Reynolds Asked For His 'Permission' To Pass Away! Posted: 22 Mar 2017 07:10 PM PDT What a huge reveal! In December 2016, Hollywood was shocked when legendary mother-daughter duo Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher died one day a part. Fast forward to Wednesday, Reynolds' son Todd Fisher gave an interview to ET where he opens up about how he's doing since losing both his mom and his sister months ago. Related: Billie Lourd Continues To Remember Her Mom During the sit-down, the producer discloses that the Singin' In The Rain actress actually asked for his 'permission' to die hours after Carrie passed away. The 59-year-old said:
Initially, Todd didn't understand what Debbie meant by these statements.
While Billie Lourd's uncle thought he was going over logistics for Carrie's funeral, he realized he would soon be planning his mother's memorial service as well.
Although one might have a hard time believing Todd's story, he says he is 100% telling the truth.

| Terror In London: Celebs React Posted: 22 Mar 2017 06:13 PM PDT Such a tragedy... As we reported, on Wednesday, a man drove a large vehicle into pedestrian traffic on Westminster Bridge in London. After crashing into a rail, the driver tried to enter Westminster Abbey and stabbed a policeman in the process. He was later shot by police. As of this writing, five are dead (including policeman Keith Palmer), and over 40 are injured. Related: Third White House Scare In A Week Once word spread, several celebs -- including Nicki Minaj -- sent their thoughts and prayers via social media to the victims of this heinous crime. Sadly, the Super Bass rapper's message to England was overshadowed when fans criticized her for speaking out about London yet staying silent about the Orlando shooting at Pulse nightclub. Even with this controversy, other Hollywood stars -- including Chelsea Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres -- took time to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in Wednesday's attack. | House Intelligence Chair Drops Trump Surveillance Bombshell — After Asking Donald If It's OK First! Posted: 22 Mar 2017 05:54 PM PDT Lots to unpack here, not the least of which is Devin Nunes' nose from Donald Trump's ass. Nunes is the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, which is currently investigating the President's claims that he was "wiretapped" by President Barack Obama during the election. That investigation may have been completely derailed today when Nunes announced in a press conference on Wednesday that he had been given new information on the case. Related: Secret Service Requests $60 Million Extra In Funding For Trump Security He says he received intel that Trump WAS surveilled, but not due to being the target of surveillance. Rather, says Nunes, Trump was speaking to foreign targets of U.S. surveillance, and he and his team were recorded "incidentally." Um... WHO was Trump talking to?? Nunes would not reveal that information but assured the press it had nothing to do with that other investigation. You know, the one about Trump figuratively (and possibly literally) being in bed with Russia. The Donald said he felt "somewhat" vindicated by this development, though even if it's true it would still mean he was absolutely wrong about Obama wiretapping him and that he STILL owed the former POTUS an apology. Of course, Nunes doesn't see it that way; his defense all along has been that Trump, like The Bible or TV psychics, should not be taken "literally."
Ugh. We're sure we'll get more info on this development over the next few days. But let's focus on Nunes for a second. Notice that we didn't say this info came out in a hearing of the HIC? You know, the committee running the investigation? The one Nunes is LEADING?? That's because Nunes decided he should bring the info directly to the President first, before letting anyone else in the committee see it. Even though, of course, the President and his team are part of the investigation. Shady af. Related: Melania Is Reportedly So 'Miserable' That She & Donald Have Separate Bedrooms! But hey, man. What else is new? We mean, Nunes himself was part of Trump's transition team, so it's already a kangaroo court. One person who is still surprised at the outrageous move is Nunes' fellow committee member and Representative of California Adam Schiff, who responded with his own press conference on behalf of Democrats, and the rest of the committee, who apparently have NO IDEA what Nunes is talking about! He stated:
Yeah, something tells us this investigation is going to be about as "credible" as a doctor with a degree from Trump U. Schiff went on:

| 15-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted By Multiple Attackers On Facebook Live Posted: 22 Mar 2017 03:33 PM PDT Up to 40 people reportedly watched multiple assailants sexually assault a 15-year-old girl on Facebook Live Sunday, according to Chicago police. The victim went missing when she didn't return home after being dropped off by a relative, who claims to have been the last to see her before the attack. Hours later, her family discovered a video on the Internet showing the high school freshman being attacked by "five or six" men. Related: Terror In London -- Get The Latest On The Westminster Attack After getting wind of the alarming video, cops began a search for the teen, who was ultimately found crying on a neighbor's porch on Tuesday. She was released to her mother after receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. No arrests have been made yet, but CPD Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted an update on the scary situation:

| Death Note Is Just A Footnote In The Long History Of Hollywood Whitewashing! Posted: 22 Mar 2017 03:16 PM PDT Netflix has been hit this past week with a one-two punch of controversy thanks to claims of white exceptionalism in Marvel's Iron Fist and now pure whitewashing in the first trailer for Death Note. The manga adaptation changed Light Yagami to Light Turner in the American movie, leading many to once again voice their displeasure with Hollywood's lack of representation for Asians. Some have argued this is not whitewashing but rather just another remake relocating the setting and thus the nationality of the characters, like Let Me In or Death At A Funeral in recent years -- but come on. You couldn't have cast a young Asian American actor in the lead role, considering the source material? Usually this kind of change is at least done to accommodate a movie star... but we're sorry, Nat Wolff is no Scarlett Johansson! Maybe this is a good time for the filmmakers to look back on the limited amount of progress that has been made -- to give us an idea of how much better we can do! It's looking like Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs are no longer friends, which is pretty surprising considering their longtime friendship (TV sisterhood is forever, y'all!). In case you haven't noticed, the stars haven't posted any pictures to Instagram since June of last year when they both appeared at the Sydney Opera House for an event (above).
