  Racial issues continue to fester in America, but this has not instilled a sense of despair or hopelessness among black millennials, a new study finds. In fact, researchers say they have found the opposite.   Black queer love between two women often goes underrepresented in any medium. Writer Tee Franklin wants to help change this with her forthcoming comic “Bingo Love.” It follows the fictional story of Hazel Johnson and Mari McCray, beginning from the time they fall in love as teenagers in 1963. She told The New York Times that she’s eager for a new script...preferably from comic powerhouse Marvel. “I would love to be a Marvel superhero,” she told NYT in an interview published on Friday.
