No Images? Click here It has been nearly two years since Rachel Dolezal was outed by her parents for being a white woman who claimed to be black. Unfortunately, she is still a national news sensation. On Tuesday, Fox News was hit with a racial discrimination lawsuit from two black female employees who are accusing a white executive of racial harassment and the network of ignoring their complaints. We were so inspired by Waters’ response that we decided to highlight even more women. Using the hashtag #StrongBlackWoman, we asked our Twitter followers to tell us what makes them a boss. As high school seniors, Meggie Noel and Kylie Webster-Cazeau launched a campaign last January that placed the racism faced by black students at Boston Latin School in the spotlight. Their advocacy has since been honored by the Harvard College Women’s Center and The Boston Globe. Stay plugged in with the stories on black life and culture that matter.
