Beginning tomorrow from the City of Brotherly Love, the DNC will host Hillary Clinton's nomination, but also stars like Snoop Dogg, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Bryan Cranston, and many, many more! Related: Lovato is planning on performing at the DNC, and word has it that Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, and DJ Jazzy Jeff are going to be holding a free concert across the river in Camden, New Jersey for convention attendees. On opening night, singer Janelle Monáe is scheduled to do some type of performance, too, and word has it that Fergie will be there for a benefit concert set to help an arts advocacy organization. Pop star Kesha is headlining an event organized by a gun control group, Americans for Responsible Solutions PAC, and will be flanked by country-rock group Drive-By Truckers in the process. Steven Ross, the executive director of the Artists and Athletes Alliance, noted that this seems to be business as usual for the Democrats:
There is likely going to be one absence of note: George Clooney, who has hosted major fundraisers for Clinton and been a huge Democratic ally for years, is NOT on the schedule at the DNC this week. Iggy Azalea was partying in Las Vegas over the weekend, at the very same spot where Jennifer Lopez had her 47th birthday that involved a couple of VERY timely celeb cameos! And it wasn't just Calvin Harris and Kim Kardashian there -- and there was more to the night than Kimmy K belting out Famous lyrics! Related: Iggy Bares The Booty In Sexy Selfie! At the very same party Saturday night, Iggy was spotted getting cozy with rapper French Montana, partying for hours at the Jewel nightclub at the Aria Resort & Casino! The two danced together inside the venue, and according to a source speaking to E! News, they left together at the end of the night, too! | Katt Williams Detained By Police After Allegedly Attacking A Woman In Los Angeles Posted: 24 Jul 2016 02:04 PM PDT More controversy for comedian Katt Williams. The entertainer has apparently been detained by the police after allegedly attacking a restaurant employee on Sunday morning in Sherman Oaks, an area of Los Angeles. Related: Katt Booked For Drugs & Weapons According to reports in TMZ, the police are speaking to Williams now after the incident -- which took place hours ago at the Sportsmen's Lodge restaurant in Sherman Oaks -- was called in to the LAPD by the restaurant staff. Nobody yet knows what started the fight, or what specifically happened, but police apparently did see visible injuries on the woman, and she is allegedly adamant about arresting Katt on battery charges. | Whoa! Watch Lil Wayne Storm Off Stage Mid-Set After Heated Rant! Posted: 24 Jul 2016 01:21 PM PDT What's going on, Lil Wayne?! The rapper was all set to perform at an event produced by High Times in San Bernardino, California on Saturday, but what was supposed to be a simple headliner set at the concert turned into... controversy! After just a few songs, Weezy went into a big rant at the crowd and abruptly stormed off the stage, giving no explanation for why he bounced and confusing even his own staff and support team in the process!
