In the program, Vice President Joe Biden addresses the crowd with a message honoring the Orlando shooting victims, and to also denounce North Carolina's anti-transgender laws. On Friday, Justin Bieber sprained his ankle during a game of pickup basketball in Cincinnati... only HOURS before he's supposed to take the stage at the US Bank Arena for his Purpose World Tour! | Memphis Man Raises Over $100K For A Teen Who Offered To Carry His Groceries! Posted: 24 Jun 2016 03:59 PM PDT This will absolutely restore your faith in humanity. Two weeks ago, Memphis resident Matt White was approached at a supermarket by a teenager named Chauncy Black who simply wanted food for him and his disabled mother. In exchange, the high school student offered to carry groceries to the man's car. Related: Harry Styles Chopped Off His Luscious Locks For Charity! According to White:
As they were getting groceries, the two formed an instant bond, where Matt learned more about Chauncy's life.
Deeply affected by the teen's story, Matt wrote about the encounter on Facebook and even started a GoFundMe page for Chauncy and his mom. While the Facebook post has received more than 10,000 likes, the fundraiser earned more than $103,000 in less than two weeks! But White refuses to take credit. Instead, he gives praise to the charitable citizens of Memphis!

| Orlando Shooting: How Many Victims Are Still In The Hospital? Posted: 24 Jun 2016 03:18 PM PDT Doctors have done such an incredible job in an unbelievably difficult time. After June 12's horrifying mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, 49 people lost their lives -- and 53 more were injured, most seriously enough to be taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Related: Couple Killed At Pulse Nightclub Will Have Joint Funeral Of the 44 victims rushed to the level one trauma center, as of Friday morning, there are 11 still in the hospital, all experiencing an array of conditions, according to Trauma Medical Director Dr. Joseph Ibrahim. Eight of those 11 patients are currently in stable condition, with one more listed as "guarded," which means he's able to move on his own and speak. The other two at Orlando Regional are still listed in critical condition, according to the doctor. Beyond that, three more survivors -- all in fair condition -- are being treated at Florida Hospital. In total, the amount of work done by doctors and nurses at Orlando Regional has been staggering; according to the hospital, surgeons have performed 61 operations on victims since the shooting not even two weeks ago. Ibrahim spoke to the media about the support patients are getting, both in the intensive care unit and throughout the hospital:
As survivors are discharged upon improvement, we are hearing more and more stories of their tales, but above all, one emotion resounds: thankfulness. And for other survivors recovering in the hospital, visits from old high school friends as well as the governor of Florida, Rick Scott (pictured above) and athletes Johnny Damon and Shaquille O'Neal brightened everyone's mood during a difficult time. At least there are good stories of recovery and redemption coming out of Orlando, even amid the misery and tragedy.
