This time it's the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards, coming to us live right now from Toronto -- and this time it's Gigi Hadid helming the show as our fearless host! The show started off in a tough way for Gigi, though -- she lost her phone! OK, so she didn't really lose her phone, but was rather the butt of an opening skit that included a d*ck pic!! But it's a sign she's going to poke fun at herself tonight and have the right attitude for an awards show that really doesn't take itself too seriously! Hailee Steinfeld, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Macklemore, and more all had fun at Miz Hadid's expense, too. But that's not all! Related: Iggy To Join X Factor Australia! Months following Nick Young's cheating scandal, Iggy Azalea has taken to Instagram to break the breakup news, saying:
The pair had been engaged since last June, but the two faced turmoil after a scandalous video leaked back in March. The footage showed the 31-year-old basketball player basically admitting to cheating on his 26-year-old fiancée. Though Iggy had quickly put to rest rumors of a split, fans began to worry when she celebrated her birthday without him. The rapper was also seen NOT wearing her engagement ring in numerous photos. The Star Trek and Alpha Dog actor died Saturday night in a freak accident when he was pinned by his car up against a brick mailbox outside his home in Los Angeles. Related: Mexican Singer Shot And Killed In Chicago We can't even imagine what his family and friends are going through now -- and celebs across the spectrum are obviously struggling with his sudden and heartbreaking departure, too. | Finding Dory Wins The Weekend At The Box Office And Sets An All-Time Record In The Process! Posted: 19 Jun 2016 02:54 PM PDT Now that's how you make an entrance! Finding Dory dominated the box office this weekend -- which was more or less expected. But what NOBODY expected was just how much money it racked up. We're talking Biggest. Animated. Opening. Ever!!! Related: Which Fast & The Furious Film Is Your Spirit Animal?! That's right -- the sequel to Finding Nemo set an ALL-TIME box office record for an animated film's opening weekend when it pulled in $136.2 million over the last couple days in theaters!! That total absolutely blows by the previous record holder, Shrek The Third, which did $121.6 million back in '07. It also blows by Toy Story 3 -- which had previously been Pixar's highest-grossing animated film on an opening weekend when it did $110 million in 2010. Considering Toy Story 3 ended up doing a whopping $415 million across its run six years ago, who knows how big Finding Dory is going to be when it's all said and done! Related: New Ghostbusters Movie Toys Are Only For Boys?! That wasn't even the only good news in Hollywood, though -- Central Intelligence opened in theaters, too, and racked up $34.5 million. That's nothing compared to Dory, of course, but considering expectations for the Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Kevin Hart-led flick, that's a really solid total for it, too! | Star Trek Actor Anton Yelchin Dead After Accident Posted: 19 Jun 2016 11:07 AM PDT This is shocking and SO unexpected. Anton Yelchin, known for his starring role in Star Trek, as well as work in Alpha Dog, has died. He was just 27 years old. Related: RuPaul's Drag Race Alum Honors Orlando Victims With A Tattoo According to TMZ, police believe that Yelchin was killed when he was pinned by his own car overnight on Saturday at his home in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Yelchin's friends were expecting him earlier on Saturday evening for a rehearsal of some sort, and when he never showed, they became alarmed and went to his house to investigate. It was there, around 1:00 am, that they found him pinned between his car and a brick mailbox attached to a security gate in front of his home. Law enforcement sources say the car's engine was running, and the car in neutral, when they arrived. Related: Mexican Singer Shot And Killed In Chicago The driveway is apparently on a steep incline, and cops believe he was pinned when his car rolled down towards him against the brick mailbox and gate, though cops don't know why he would have gotten out of the car in the first place.
