On Thursday, E! News learned that the blonde beauty -- who is very vocal in the gun control debate -- pulled the plug on a gun scene in her new film, following the senseless shooting at Pulse nightclub that killed 49 people and injured so many others. On Wednesday, the two-year-old who was attacked by an alligator at Disney World's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa was tragically found dead. And on Thursday, the Orange County Medical Examiner has revealed young Lane Graves' official cause of death. Related: This Mom Proves The Attack Could Have Happened To Any Family The Medical Examiner's office has determined that the Nebraska toddler was killed from a combination of drowning and traumatic injuries. So incredibly sad. Since the horrific incident, officials have caught and put down five gators in the lagoon, but still have not tracked down the exact animal responsible for claiming the youngster's life. | The Orlando Shooting Set Off A Shockwave Of Threats Against Universities & Gay Bars In New York Posted: 16 Jun 2016 04:45 PM PDT How terrifying. According to The New York Post, there has been a ton of frightening threats made against New York gay clubs and universities following the Orlando shooting this past weekend. Related: Orlando Shooter Donated Blood Before The Attack While some people might think that violence dies down after a tragedy like a mass shooting, this is simply not the case. In fact, menacing threats tend to INCREASE after a horrific crime. A member of the NYPD explained:
Disgusting. There are too many misguided and disgusting people out there. To make matters particuarly scary, the president of New York University received an email from a person who claimed that an Orlando style attack was just around the corner for American universities and colleges. The author claimed the plot was in retaliation for the killing of a Taliban leader back in May. In addition to the horrific threat, someone called gay venue Monster Bar and declared:
A source went on to reveal that a caller threatened another gay bar called Boxers NYC and said:
We're just sickened. Absolutely SICKENED. The police also admitted deranged people have left hateful notes on the windshields of cars throughout the city. This is such devestating information. | THIS Mom Just Proved How The Tragic Alligator Attack Could Have Happened To Any Family! Posted: 16 Jun 2016 03:54 PM PDT Wow, this information is absolutely heartbreaking! Following the tragic death of toddler Lane Graves at a Disney resort, a mother at the same hotel has come forward to defend his grief stricken parents. Related: Toddler's Family Issues A Statement Jennifer Venditti Roye, a mom with a young son of her own, took to Facebook on Wednesday morning to share her insider perspective on the horrific alligator attack and to explain her position as to why it could have happened to ANYONE who had visited the Seven Seas Lagoon that day. In fact, Roye's precious son had stood by the lake's edge that same night, just HOURS before poor Lane was snatched. The concerned mother also spoke with People Magazine about the horrible situation, saying:
Very good point, Jennifer! A lot of people have given the suffering parents flack for the tragedy but not many know that a movie night had been organized near the lagoon and that a splash-pad water slide was just a few feet away. Apparently little kids had been running back and forth from the slide to the lagoon all night. The momma went on to add:
Well, it sounds like the resort should add a sign warning guests of potential alligators in addition to the no swimming policy. It makes sense since many of the children weren't swimming that evening -- most of the kids were simply standing at the water's edge. Summing up her position on the situation, the mom expressed:

Just hours after the tragic shooting at an Orlando gay club that killed 49 people and injured dozens on Sunday, police in Santa Monica, California thwarted another potential massacre when they arrested James Wesley Howell as he was headed to LA Gay Pride with a lot of weapons and explosives. Now, we're learning just how deadly that scary situation could have been. Related: It Took A Reporter Just 7 Minutes To Buy An AR-15… Recent reports say that the cops found a loaded assault rifle that had been rigged to shoot twice as much. According to authorities, the high-powered weapon was loaded with a 30-round magazine, and had ANOTHER inverted 30-round magazine taped to it. Former FBI agent James Wedick explained that this mechanism would have allowed the 20-year-old to reload another 30 rounds almost immediately, doubling his ability to quickly kill people. He said:
Wow. It makes us sick thinking about what could have happened, but we're so glad the police were able to stop James before he hurt anyone.
