Orlando Shooting: Ex-Marine Reportedly Saved 70 Lives At Pulse Nightclub! WATCH HERE!

Good always triumphs over evil.

On Sunday, the nation was shocked when Omar Mateen murdered 49 people at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL. While the massacre is the deadliest mass shooting in US history, the event also highlighted the courageous actions of a few individuals whose brave efforts saved dozens of lives.

CBS News recently spoke to Imran Yousuf -- a US marine who served in Afghanistan -- who worked the night of the shooting as a bouncer.

According to the veteran, he was at the club's back staff hallway when he heard shots go off. After a crowd of people joined him in the close quarters, he realized there was a door near them that could lead them to safety.

The 24-year-old recalls:

"I'm just screaming 'open the door, open the door,' and no one's moving because they're scared... There was only one choice, either we all stay there and we all die or I could either take the chance to get shot, save everyone else."'

Yousuf says around 60-70 club goers went through the exit.

Although he saved so many lives, he believes he could've saved more.

"I wish I could save more, to be honest... There's a lot of people that are dead... There's a lot of people that are dead."

Was Christina Grimmie Killed Because She Was A Christian?

There is so much injustice in this world...

On Friday, Christina Grimmie was murdered by Kevin James Loibl as she was signing autographs after her concert in Orlando, Fl.

As police are currently figuring out the killer's motive, publications have reported that the shooting may have to do with The Voice contestant's Christian faith.

According to the Santa Monica Observer, authorities are investigating the singer's death as a hate crime after reviewing Loibl's cell phone and computer records. However, according to Orlando police spokesperson Wanda Miglio:

"I have received no information about that rumor."

The 22-year-old has mentioned her faith on her website and on social media. In February 2013, she wrote the following tweet:

"Sometimes God allows terrible things to happen in your life and you don't know why. But that doesn't mean you should stop trusting Him."

In 2012, she even covered In Christ Alone on YouTube where she wrote in the caption:

"JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR and i'm not at all ashamed of it."

Orlando Shooting: Two-Time Cancer Survivor Stood In Front Of Gunman To Protect Her Son

There's nothing that can compare to a mother's love.

As we reported, My So-Called Life actor Wilson Cruz revealed that his mother's stepsister Brenda Lee Marquez McCool was one of the 49 victims who died in the massacre at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL.

The two-time cancer survivor went with her 21-year-old openly gay son, Isaiah Henderson.

According to the Brooklyn native's sister-in-law Ada Pressley, McCool actually stepped in front of gunman Omar Mateen to protect Isaiah.

Pressley said :

"Brenda saw him point the gun. She said, 'Get down,' to Isaiah and she got in front of him."'

Henderson was eventually brought to safety and survived the attack. Unfortunately, his mom did not.

"She was shot dead. That's how much she loved her kids. If it weren't for her, he'd of been shot."

The family learned about Brenda's fate late Monday. Isaiah wrote on Facebook:

"Just laying here thinking that I was just with my mom 24 hours ago, this is so surreal… I love you mom."

Ada remembers the 49-year-old mother for her strength, and the love she had for her brood.

"She was a brave woman."

SWAT Team Kills Walmart Gunman In Texas Who Took Hostages

Sadly, these stories are becoming the norm...

On Tuesday, an armed Walmart employee by the name of Mohammad Moghaddam took two hostages at his own workplace in Amarillo, Texas. One of the hostages was the store manager.

A SWAT team eventually shot and killed the 54-year-old suspect, and both captives were unharmed.

Police first reported the event as an "active shooter incident" at 12:30 p.m. local time, but later considered it a "work-place violence situation."

At the time of the shooting, officers helped evacuate shoppers from the west side of the store.

According to witnesses, around 20 cop and emergency vehicles swarmed the crime scene, and several local businesses went on lockdown. Authorities even closed down nearby streets.

We are just glad no one innocent was killed!

Bethenny Frankel Talks Her New Relationship — 'I Haven't Been This Happy In A Really Long Time'!

It looks like Bethenny Frankel has FINALLY found happiness!

Following an ongoing and dramatic divorce battle with Jason Hoppy, Bethenny opened up about her new relationship and bright future with Dennis Shields. The two first went public with their relationship earlier this month.

Despite some people and Real Housewives of New York City cast members not jiving with the fact that Dennis is still married, Frankel couldn't be more thrilled with her new boyfriend. In fact, the reality star is in the best place she has ever been!

In a confessional with People Magazine, the skinny girl revealed:

"I am in a really happy place right now. I haven't been this happy in a really long time, and I'm continuing with my policy of not involving [others] in my relationships, because it certainly has served me wrong in the past."

Well, we're glad to hear B.F. has learned her lesson! All we can do is learn from our mistakes!

The momma elaborated on her don't ask, don't tell policy:

"You know the definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior and expecting different results, so I'm not going to make the same mistake twice. So, if I'm happy in a relationship, I want to keep it private for as long as I can. It has not worked out with me well in the past to be gushing over being really happy – I'll leave that part to my cast mates."

Considering Luann De Lesseps just got engaged, we don't think this will be a problem -- girl loves to gush over her new beau!

Summing up her new romance with Mr. Shields, Frankel quipped:

"He's legally married and separated, which is exactly what I am so we're a perfect match. That's me being me, making a joke, owning it, like 'Yes would you like to open my hood, here it is...' "

The Little Girl Who Was Allowed To Choose 'Heaven Over Hospital' Has Passed Away

... and the heartbreaking news keeps on coming.

According to Dr. Michelle Moon's blog, her little girl Julianna Yuri Snow passed away on Tuesday after a heroic and difficult battle with a rare neurological disease. Precious Julianna was just five-years-old.

Some people might remember Julianna as the girl who requested to go to "heaven" instead of battling for survival in a hospital. While the intelligent child knew her time on earth would be cut short, she was adamant about spending her final days in the comfort of her own home alongside her adoring family.

While some readers found the Michelle and her husband's decision controversial, there were plenty of people who commended the family's difficult choice and Julianna's amazing sense of faith at such a young age.

In the doctor's emotional post, she said of her daughter's untimely death:

"Our sweet Julianna went to heaven today. I am stunned and heartbroken, but also thankful. I feel like the luckiest mom in the world, for God somehow entrusted me with this glorious child, and we got almost six years together. I wanted more time, of course, and that's where the sadness comes in. But she is free now."

What a heartbreaking message to have to write. We can't even begin to imagine the sorrow.

In a text message to CNN, Julianna's mommy described her final hours:

"She got sick very suddenly and it was back to the same battle of helping her breathe. This time, she didn't bounce back -- she got worse and worse and worse and was gone in just over 24 [hours]. We had the full support of hospice and we had the things we needed to keep her comfortable. She died at home, in her princess room and in my arms. I don't know that she would have wanted it any other way."

Well, we're just relieved to hear that the little girl died peacefully. Our hearts go out to Julianna's friends and family during this difficult time.

Following the couple's breakup earlier this month, sources have come forward to reveal how Tay will be spending her days now that she's flying solo.

While Swift has been painted time and time again as a love obsessed chick focused on relationships and revenge, insiders claim this couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, T.S. has already decided this summer will be all about HER!

A confidante via E! News said of Swift's renewed state of mind:

"Taylor is hanging out with her friends and keeping busy. She wants to be single for a while and have a relaxing summer. She has some plans to travel this summer. Taylor has also been writing new music."

This sounds like a perfectly healthy way to get over a split! Not to mention it's refreshingly low-key!

In addition to friends and traveling, the blonde has also taken to the gym a la Khloé Kardashian style to cope with her new single status:

"She is doing a mixture of strength training with her trainer that she sees regularly and Working with Body by Simone. She works out with her girlfriends and also on her own. She puts in about five days a week with working out."

Well, there's nothing more satisfying than a revenge body! Werk!

Summing up Taylor's personal progress since the split, the insider confided:

"Taylor is not sad anymore about the breakup. She knows it was for the best. They are not on bad terms. They have communicated since the breakup, but getting back together is something that's not in the cards for either of them."

Ariel Winter and Elle Fanning are both officially high school graduates!

The actresses celebrated with their respective classes at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Monday, dressed in cobalt blue robes.

Though Elle never took hers off, Ariel opened her robe to show off the skintight dusty rose dress she was wearing underneath. And it was HOT!

Loving that scooped leg slit and those matching pumps, but hating the cigars -- icky!

Orlando Shooting: Fake Charities Are Scamming Donors — Find Out How To Avoid Them!

Many generous people are donating to charities in hopes of helping those affected by the devastating Orlando shooting that claimed 50 lives over the weekend.

But those who are eager to help should know exactly where their money is going first -- because fake charities have been popping up looking to scam donors!

On Monday, the Better Business Bureau issued a warning telling donors to exercise caution before giving away money, as fake funds disguised are disguising themselves as organizations pledging to help the Orlando victims and families.

H. Art Taylor, the president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, said in a press release:

"We are already hearing about click-bait schemes and questionable solicitations, and we expect there will be numerous scams and frauds. We urge those generous donors to give wisely so their gifts can do the most good."

The bureau suggests that those looking to make a donation should avoid clicking on unfamiliar links and keep a lookout for "vague appeals" that don't say how money will be used.

Also, donors should make sure to double-check the URL for accuracy, and check to see if the site is registered with the government.

We hope those who plan on donating make sure they aren't being taken advantage of by some awful scammers who want to illegally profit off the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

Andy Cohen Hints At Bethenny Frankel's Mysterious Health Scare: 'She Starts Bleeding Profusely!'

This sounds worse than we originally thought!

As we've previously reported, Bethenny Frankel is currently going through some sort of health crisis on Real Housewives of New York, but there haven't been many more details released aside from that simple fact... That is, until now!

Andy Cohen sat down with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday to discuss his BFF/employee's health scare -- which we know has nothing to do with cancer -- where he went into bloody detail about her current state. Literally!

While letting fans know what's still to come on RHONY, the Bravo exec admitted that "what happens is that Bethenny starts bleeding profusely.... and then, that begins her health journey."

Yikes!

Luckily, Bethenny was also on hand for a separate interview to let viewers know that her condition is something that many women can identify with, so that's some good news at least.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer before they finally address the news on RHONY.
