He got it from his mama… and daddy!

Recently, Brandon Lee -- Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee's son -- did a shirtless spread for Paper Magazine and we could totally see where he gets his good looks from!

The 20-year-old model and actor talks to the publication about his love of fashion and cinema. In fact, his favorite director is Quentin Tarantino!

The Hollywood offspring says :

"Probably my favorite director has got to be Tarantino. One of my aspirations in life is to die in a Tarantino film, just because if you die in a Tarantino film, your head explodes. It's not like a death— it's an obliteration, which is so intense."

When you're the son of a famous rocker and a TV star, you're bound to be in the industry! And that's what Brandon plans to do!

"I've always been into film, and I've always been into entertainment. I arrived into that world. I thought early on in my life that I would always want to stay away from it, but the older I got the more I loved it. I must watch five to ten movies a week. I'm a cinephile."

Sounds like he's about to make waves on the big screen! Speaking of which, he even confirms mom's appearance in the upcoming Baywatch movie with Zac Efron and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson!

"Yeah, she's in the new one. I don't know if I should have said that."

Oops! Too late now! The cat's out of the bag!

Women's Running Magazine Puts A Transgender Woman On The Cover For The First Time!

Posted: 13 Jun 2016 07:07 PM PDT

History has been made!

The new issue of Women's Running is featuring a transgender woman on the cover for the first time ever! Amelia Gapin graced the front of the mag, and told People all about the exciting experience!

In fact, the 33-year-old revealed that being recognized on the publication's cover is particularly sentimental, since running was a huge part of her transition, saying:

"Running helped me get through the mental and emotional struggles I went through while I was transitioning. I was able to clear my head and approach things from a much better perspective."

The software engineer also expressed that this is an incredible milestone for the LGBT community, adding:

"For me to be on the cover of a women's magazine is kind of a sense of validation that other people are seeing transgender women as women. And having Women's Running want to put me on the cover says a lot about how they see transgender people."

The glossy's editor-in-chief, Jessie Sebor, explained why she selected Amelia for the cover, exclaiming:

"Amelia's bravery, openness and tough-runner spirit makes her a wonderful role model for Women's Running's growing community – she's certainly an inspiration to everyone on our team, myself included."

Amazing!

The MyTransHealth co-founder first began to transition four years ago, and started hormone treatments. In the past few months, Miz Gapin underwent gender reassignment surgery so she could qualify for the Boston Marathon as a woman.

The gorgeous gal also opened up about what it was like to transition, dishing:

"It was a lot to grapple with. There were the things you're dealing with internally, and figuring out things that you either you never thought about before or never really allowed yourself to think about. Things you kind of knew were there and you pushed away."

But the fierce female says running helped her cope with the stress and pressure of transitioning:

"[Running] gave me a place to work through all of the external things, like dealing with other people, and how to approach coming out to people and how to explain. And when conversations didn't go well – I lost friends because of it – running was a nice outlet for getting out some of that frustration."

The runner confessed that she wants her magazine cover to help inspire and empower other transgender individuals:

"I'm hoping that it shows people that are thinking about coming out, or want to transition and are afraid, that you can transition and things can go well. It's really scary to be a trans person right now with everything that's going on, and I know that a lot of people who were thinking about transition are reconsidering that. So if I can show them that it can be a very positive thing and it's not going to necessarily be horrible. You can be successful, you can do all these things."

We LOVE seeing Amelia as a cover girl!

A Dutch Woman Was Jailed And Convicted In Qatar After Reporting Her Rape!

Posted: 13 Jun 2016 06:52 PM PDT

This makes us so angry!

In March of this year, a Dutch woman -- known only as Laura -- had a few drinks at a hotel bar in Doha, Qatar when she started to experience a weird feeling. She eventually woke up in an unfamiliar location, and realized her drink had been spiked and she was raped.

When she reported the incident to officials, they did the unthinkable...

They put her in jail.

On Monday, Laura was convicted of "illicit consensual fornication" and being "drunk in a public place." She was given a year suspension, three years probation, and was fined 3,000 Qatari Riyals ($823). There were no mentions of her rape accusations throughout the court hearing.

Her rapist -- Omar Abdullah al-Hassan -- was sentenced to 100 lashes for having sex, and an additional 40 lashes for drinking alcohol -- which is illegal under law if one is Muslim.

Dutch ambassador Yvette Burghgraef-van Eechoud is doing her best to get Laura out of Qatar. She said:

"We will do everything we can to get her out of the country as soon as possible to where she says she wants to go."

In Qatar as well as other countries in the Muslim Gulf, having extramarital sex is a crime that can put you in jail for seven years.

Absolutely disgusting...

There were several points in the segment when the 49-year-old had to take a minute to compose himself, or would audibly get choked up.

His voice shook as he remembered the couples who died together, the victims who were particularly young, and all the others who were taken far too soon.

NO!!! Snapchat Will Begin Placing Ads Between Stories!

Posted: 13 Jun 2016 06:00 PM PDT

Sadly, bills need to be paid!

Recently, Snapchat announced they will begin placing ads between friends' stories as a way to monetize those views. Companies -- including Hollister, P&G, Verizon, and Warner Brothers -- are already on board.

Originally, ads would only appear in the media section of the messaging app, as the company is cautious of over-flooding one's feed with commercials.

However, considering the fact that they get around 10 billion video views each day, they saw an opportunity to make some dough!

According to their official statement :

"Stories today are the fastest, most personal way for Snapchatters to catch up with their friends. Starting soon, we'll begin rolling out Snap Ads between Stories. As always, we're being incredibly thoughtful about the experience — we'll run only top-notch creative, and we'll be careful about how many ads Snapchatters see. From time to time, we'll provide a skippable Snap Ad when a Snapchatter watches a string of Stories. These Snaps Ads only appear between Stories — they don't interrupt a Story you're currently watching."

Hmmm… this ain't too bad!

Industry insiders are hoping the company doesn't alienate its audience with this new change. According to Jill Sherman, SVP of social strategy at DigitasLBi:

"In a given session, I can easily sit through five friend stories, each lasting just seconds. So, an ad between each story would be media overload. I'm sure Snapchat has thought this through and will stagger ads to prevent this… Snapchat will need to hold advertisers to a level of creative that doesn't ruin the great user experience they've spent so long creating. Otherwise, they'll need to rethink this ad placement, as user-to-user stories is the bulk of their activity."
